Match of the Night?
Moment of the Night?
The Illuminati wants to prove they're the best overall team in Pride, so to make that statement of fact, Venom and Stevens issued a challenge to The Krieg, a team that defeated them weeks ago. The challenges was accepted via The Krieg destroying everyone after the six man tag match. Can The Illuminati topple the near unbeaten giants?
Claude LeBatard has been warned: Storm is far more dangerous than he appears. Nicole Morera warned Claude that if he could not avoid all distractions, he would be defeated by Storm. How will Nicole play into the battle between these Storm and Cluade?
JDP was told by The Voice to forfeit the match, but failed to do so. How exactly can JDP defeat a mute in an I Quit Match?
Johnny Noble fell victim to the attack by Dru Dallins, who apparently hasn't forgotten the loss to Noble. Is Dallins acting alone, or is something else driving him?
Stephen Callaway impressed in the six man tag match. Rich Hamilton doesn't see him as a threat, but with Callaway's huge momentum streak, will he prove Rich wrong?
Obscene fully cemented his hate for Kid Flanagan by walking out on his team. Can Obscene finally take the Syndicate title from Kid?
CK attempted to one up Eagles by declaring an impromptu Valiant title match...but his efforts failed. Will he win the Valiant title?
UWL has invaded Pride. Tic Tic, and the War Machines, plowed through Josh Eagles, as Pride watched on helplessly. Now, it's Pride turns for revenge, as Jeremy has alluded to the fact that Pride will be at Final Countdown. How will Pride get their revenge?
Other thoughts?

TRAUMATIC LANDING
Match of the Night?: I'm going to go with the 6 man tag, I loved the way the main event played out thought.
Moment of the Night?: Tooting my own horn because I loved Eagles putting it to management at the beginning and clearly I'm not a fan of the mass beat down I got.
The Illuminati wants to prove they're the best overall team in Pride, so to make that statement of fact, Venom and Stevens issued a challenge to The Krieg, a team that defeated them weeks ago. The challenges was accepted via The Krieg destroying everyone after the six man tag match. Can The Illuminati topple the near unbeaten giants?: Will be one freaking heck of a match up and a close call!!! If anyone can do it, they can.
Claude LeBatard has been warned: Storm is far more dangerous than he appears. Nicole Morera warned Claude that if he could not avoid all distractions, he would be defeated by Storm. How will Nicole play into the battle between these Storm and Cluade?: I think she'll cost Storm the match somehow because Claude is taking it home.
JDP was told by The Voice to forfeit the match, but failed to do so. How exactly can JDP defeat a mute in an I Quit Match?: Umm I think he can make the voice quit!!
Johnny Noble fell victim to the attack by Dru Dallins, who apparently hasn't forgotten the loss to Noble. Is Dallins acting alone, or is something else driving him?: Likely another Noble driving him.
Stephen Callaway impressed in the six man tag match. Rich Hamilton doesn't see him as a threat, but with Callaway's huge momentum streak, will he prove Rich wrong?: I love Rich I really do, but Callaway is on top of his game and could be in line for a title shot at either title right now. It'll be a MOTN contender when it happens.
Obscene fully cemented his hate for Kid Flanagan by walking out on his team. Can Obscene finally take the Syndicate title from Kid?: He's got the talent to do it, but I see the Kid holding out just a little bit longer.
CK attempted to one up Eagles by declaring an impromptu Valiant title match...but his efforts failed. Will he win the Valiant title?: Nope, Eagles has too much going for him and won't lose this quick.
UWL has invaded Pride. Tic Tic, and the War Machines, plowed through Josh Eagles, as Pride watched on helplessly. Now, it's Pride turns for revenge, as Jeremy has alluded to the fact that Pride will be at Final Countdown. How will Pride get their revenge?: Josh Eagles will ensure Travis Montgomery walks out as champion! But since I'm not in the loop, that's a guess.
Other thoughts?: Loved the show this week, matches were a little shorter and chopped full of secrets lol, but I liked that better. A few segments missing here and there and a little less Noble/Sterling played out well I think. Everything was really driven by the roster on the final show.

Match of the Night? - Main Event >_>
- Um, I doubt anyone believes that after The Krieg buried like 5 or 6 guys for no reason...
Claude LeBatard has been warned: Storm is far more dangerous than he appears. Nicole Morera warned Claude that if he could not avoid all distractions, he would be defeated by Storm. How will Nicole play into the battle between these Storm and Cluade? - Threesome.
JDP was told by The Voice to forfeit the match, but failed to do so. How exactly can JDP defeat a mute in an I Quit Match? - He's not a mute, he's just lame.
Johnny Noble fell victim to the attack by Dru Dallins, who apparently hasn't forgotten the loss to Noble. Is Dallins acting alone, or is something else driving him? - The promise of a lifetime's supply of KFC from Kurt Noble. >_>
Stephen Callaway impressed in the six man tag match. Rich Hamilton doesn't see him as a threat, but with Callaway's huge momentum streak, will he prove Rich wrong? - Maybe, maybe not.
Obscene fully cemented his hate for Kid Flanagan by walking out on his team. Can Obscene finally take the Syndicate title from Kid? - No.
CK attempted to one up Eagles by declaring an impromptu Valiant title match...but his efforts failed. Will he win the Valiant title? - Yes.
- I don't know but The Illuminati will be watching and laughing.
Other thoughts? - Solid show. The only thing I would change is the already mentioned Krieg stuff. There really was no justification for burying the Syndicate Champ, one of his challengers at the Super Show, two members of what is supposed to be a threatening heel stable, and a guy with all the momentum in the world right now (well, not anymore).

Nothing against Krieg, I'm beyond the issues but I don't know if he or the bossmen wrote that segment- I thought it was pointless. I'm not even talking the burial of me (fuck, I didn't RP so kill me all you want), but the Great Khali came in and buried like 6 people. That's shameful.

I'm not going to lie I was kinda waiting to see what everyone else said because I was the nit picker last week. But The Kreig destroying everyone seemed out of place. It makes the match against the Illuminati seem almost pointless, killed everything that the Syndicate Champion had going for him and also one of his challengers plus destroying Callaway instead. I mean I think it effectively killed the heat on 3 feuds ... combine that with the UWL destroying myself and in one night half the KoP roster was destroyed and made to look really weak.
No idea whose seg idea it was, but it really wasn't a good one. Sorry.

Match of the Night? I'll actually go with Frenchy vs Dru just for some of the insults that the Merc threw around. Awesome stuff.
Moment of the Night? I'm torn...either "Oui oui, punkass" or the ending...really strong ending to this show.
Wouldn't I come off as biased here?
Claude LeBatard has been warned: Storm is far more dangerous than he appears. Nicole Morera warned Claude that if he could not avoid all distractions, he would be defeated by Storm. How will Nicole play into the battle between these Storm and Cluade? I foresee her playing a vital role, but Claude overcoming the distraction and securing a huge win for himself.
JDP was told by The Voice to forfeit the match, but failed to do so. How exactly can JDP defeat a mute in an I Quit Match? Spoilers: He can't
Johnny Noble fell victim to the attack by Dru Dallins, who apparently hasn't forgotten the loss to Noble. Is Dallins acting alone, or is something else driving him? Dallins is sending a statement to everyone...it doesn't matter if you're the boss's brother or a pissed off hobo, Dru tha Merc ain't nobody's bitch...nigga.
Stephen Callaway impressed in the six man tag match. Rich Hamilton doesn't see him as a threat, but with Callaway's huge momentum streak, will he prove Rich wrong? When have I ever went against Stevie C? He's an e-fed God!
Obscene fully cemented his hate for Kid Flanagan by walking out on his team. Can Obscene finally take the Syndicate title from Kid? I think Kid will get the win, but Obscene has definitely shown that he can progress feuds and mix it up with upper tier guys
CK attempted to one up Eagles by declaring an impromptu Valiant title match...but his efforts failed. Will he win the Valiant title? Crissy K as a champion would be mind blowing.
Send the Krieg to kill Travis Montgomery?
Other thoughts? So, that segment...since it appears to be unpopular.
I wrote it. However, it wasn't a FUCK YOU to anyone. Kyle asked me to write it in a pinch so the show would go up faster. I think my exact instructions were "The Krieg comes out and lays waste" or something.
But it wasn't entirely out of character for the Krieg. Although not lately, the entire shtick with the Krieg months ago was that they appeared randomly and laid waste to people. So in the continuity of the fed, it makes a lot of sense. Add on that the Krieg's past two months have been filled with attacks and blindside assaults...it would make sense for them to blow off steam by utterly demolishing people.
That's just my two cents. Nobody's going to agree with me, though.
Show rating: Solid 8.2...ready for Winter Warfare!

Booking 101 - Having a midcard tag team (not that your midcard or anything like that but it's where The Kreig is booked) while there are currently no tag team titles destroy your entire midcard which includes 4 people who are well known multi-time world champions = bad sales and booking ideas. I could have seen The Kreig destroy the Illuminati or something, but adding Legend, Callaway, and Flanagan is too much. But I'll be silent on this topic now because I hate beating dead horses and I love beating CK instead.

Oh, don't worry about offending me or getting on my nerves about it. I just wrote what I was asked to write, haha. Being more in tune with the Krieg storyline, I can easily see why they'd attempt to murder the entire roster...but from an outside perspective, you've got valid points.
I just wanted to make it a point that I would never write my characters destroying anyone else's without being asked to. ...except Tic Tic...because fuck Tic Tic!

I'd like to know Kurt and Jer's thoughts on why 6 people needed to get squashed. Again, like I said- this has nothing to do with my character. I would have been fine if Legend and I even got stabbed or something, we didn't RP. BUT- to have Stevens, Flanagan, Callaway, etc. etc. etc. also get destroyed was something that, when I read it, I cringed and could only think to myself "Um, Why?!"

Yeah I never mind getting destroyed for a greater purpose....but I do think decimating uninvolved guys was kinda silly. Like Josh said it was unneeded for a non-main event level team to just slaughter people they're not feuding with regardless of whatever story they have done in the past I've not seen them just going after people for no reason lately. Granted I haven't read every show in full detail....so I may be wrong. But still. Josh's summary explains best IMO.

I still wouldn't like it. We're heels, it'd be dumb for us to beat anyone down unless we had a numbers advantage. Also, my character wasn't involved in this scenario, so don't try and make out like the thing I don't like is my character being on the receiving end.

Well, appears I have explaining to do. Fun times.
If anyone things the Krieg "squashing" seems out of place, then they haven't actually been getting the point of Trav's storyline. The Krieg have been getting punked out for two months. The Otbet, CK, etc., all in an effort to make them no longer appear as the dominant tag team they have been. Kaja's segment enforced that The Krieg are now being buried, and have been so months...so what do they do?
They destroyed people, like they used to do (and it was 5 guys, not 6 like everyone is saying). If anyone here followed Pride a few months ago, you'll see The Krieg became the top tag team by massacring everyone...and how do they re-establish that point after they've been basically called out earlier in the show? Do it. Again. To everyone in the ring.
I get that people like Callaway may have looked bad, and Kid too. It happens. I can't always make angles where everyone looks great all the time. Faces get beaten down sometimes. It wasn't random, if you'll look at my earlier point.
For the people saying it killed the Syndicate feud...I honestly don't believe you read the match. Obscene and Kid were bitter towards each other the WHOLE match, and Legend wanted them both when it was convenient. After going for a false Face turn for weeks, Obscene walked out on Kid, pledging not to attack him. There was PLENTY of build-up in the match, so why is everyone complaining about that? Seriously, did the people that actually read the matches not get that?
I get that the Illuminati, like all Heel factions, need to look dominant, and as a whole, all three members have. Venom/Stevens totally destroyed Bruce Hendrickson, and then destroyed Eagles and CK later....and yet, no one said anything. CK, the Valiant contender, got crushed for "no good reason," and no said anything. I understand people want to look good, and don't want their characters or those affiliated with looking bad, but every now and then, everyone has a week that get bettered...even if you're Heels. Being that the roster is legit 4/5 Heels, what do you expect me to do?
The Krieg are Heels too, if anyone cares by the way.
I totally understand constructive criticism. I don't put up these topics to have my ass kissed about the show...I put them up to help Pride. By the way, I took last week's advice...less Noble/Sterling and more "family oriented". It just doesn't help Pride when people come in, don't do a show review, bitch about a segment they didn't like, and that's it. It doesn't help when someone rudely posts "Booking 101" to make me feel like a Goddamn idiot. It doesn't help.
Anyway, I guess thanks for the thoughts and reviews. I'll see if I can get it better next week...
