Kingdom of Pride – Newsletter
The Universal Wrestling League, in a newsletter released on November 22nd, citied that UWL officials are calling the claims made by Josh Eagles “ridiculous” and “garbage.” When asked backstage about the response, Josh Eagles made the following statement: “I’m just calling it as I see it. I was in UWL for a fair number of years, and to have been given the cold shoulder by them was hurtful. They’re still a fine product, but at the end of the day, UWL needs to realize that it’s not the only kid on the block.” Pride management could not be reached for further comment on the matter, but rumors have been circulating backstage about meetings between Pride Co-President Kurt Noble and UWL General Manager Stu Floyd.
Jeremy Sterling would like to remind Kingdom of Pride and its devoted fans that loitering outside of the arena is prohibited. If you see anyone violating this by means of harassing paying customers, harming employees, stealing food, or other vulgar displays, please contact the building security immediately.
Bruce Hendrickson was injured on the past edition of Oblivion, suffering a torn shoulder after going through a table. The Kingdom of Pride would like to wish him the best on a speedy recovery.
When asked about a potential lawsuit against Christian Kane for his hostile actions against a mother and her daughter last week, Christian Kane had only the following to say: “Give me five….more like an hour alone with the mother in a room. She’ll drop the lawsuit. Oh, and bring the kid too as a ‘witness.’”
Rumors have been flying backstage about the “Psychological Evaluation Week,” which has been kept tightly under wraps. Only the following statement has been released: “The Kingdom of Pride would like to ensure that the mental stability of our roster is at a safe, reasonably level, in order to ensure that there’s maximum safety and entertainment. In order to protect the identity of the individuals who are being evaluated, no names are being released until the actual show date.”
The Kingdom of Pride has continued its talent-signing streak, signing several more new talents to the roster, who are expected to debut in the following weeks.
