Well, appears I have explaining to do. Fun times. If anyone things the Krieg "squashing" seems out of place, then they haven't actually been getting the point of Trav's storyline. The Krieg have been getting punked out for two months. The Otbet, CK, etc., all in an effort to make them no longer appear as the dominant tag team they have been. Kaja's segment enforced that The Krieg are now being buried, and have been so months...so what do they do? They destroyed people, like they used to do. If anyone here followed Pride a few months ago, you'll see The Krieg became the top tag team by massacring everyone...and how do they re-establish that point after they've been basically called out earlier in the show? Do it. Again. To everyone in the ring. I get that people like Callaway may have looked bad, and Kid too. It happens. I can't always make angles where everyone looks great all the time. Faces get beaten down sometimes. It wasn't random, if you'll look at my earlier point. For the people saying it killed the Syndicate feud...I honestly don't believe you read the match. Obscene and Kid were bitter towards each other the WHOLE match, and Legend wanted them both when it was convenient. After going for a false Face turn for weeks, Obscene walked out on Kid, pledging not to attack him. There was PLENTY of build-up in the match, so why is everyone complaining about that? Seriously, did the people that actually read the matches not get that? I get that the Illuminati, like all Heel factions, need to look dominant, and as a whole, all three members have. Venom/Stevens totally destroyed Bruce Hendrickson, and then destroyed Eagles and CK later....and yet, no one said anything. CK, the Valiant contender, got crushed for "no good reason," and no said anything. I understand people want to look good, and don't want their characters or those affiliated with looking bad, but every now and then, everyone has a week that get bettered...even if you're Heels. Being that the roster is legit 4/5 Heels, what do you expect me to do? The Krieg are Heels too, if anyone cares by the way. I totally understand constructive criticism. I don't put up these topics to have my ass kissed about the show...I put them up to help Pride. By the way, I took last week's advice...less Noble/Sterling and more "family oriented". It just doesn't help Pride when people come in, don't do a show review, bitch about a segment they didn't like, and that's it. It doesn't help when someone rudely posts "Booking 101" to make me feel like a Goddamn idiot. It doesn't help. Anyway, I guess thanks for the thoughts and reviews. I'll see if I can get it better next week... This, my friends, is called logical booking! Not everyone gets to smell like roses week in and week out, some weeks the manure sits in the garden. Wrestling in it's present form requires a hook and that's what this weeks show, heading into Winter Warfare was. The Krieg, punching bags for two months finally comes in and fucks shit up. You're know saying, can they do it again? Or does the Renaissance rebound and do as they've done the past two months? It's intrigue, it's exciting and makes you want to buy the show. As far as the syndicate feud, that, in my opinion has been built up over three months with Kid and Obscene, the entire dynamic was actually benefited this week by it, for the same reason. Obscene has been hinting that he's going to almost in a sense align with Kid and then wham! he's skipping out the door with every edge. You now have to watch Winter Warfare to see if his power play leads to him getting the gold, or whether Kid Flanagan uses it as motivation. How about Legend playing the two off each other and stealing the Syndicate Title, that could happen too. Again, you need to watch Winter Warfare to find out. Winter Warfare is going to be where KoP makes there money, so this show was key in selling it to the people. I understand everyone each week wants to look great, but it doesn't happen. Patience is a virtue and especially in wrestling, patience is rewarded. McMahon vs. Austin was a year long thing before they finally came to blows and look what happened. Same thing with Rocky Maivia turning into The Rock. Each week or every other week, every third week, whatever, there has to be some giving involved to make things better. We saw it in PWF with Reck Maverick who refused to give anything and for all intents and purposes had a shit reign, same with Paul York who ultimately no-sold everything. The best reigns were Kyle's and Jack's where in they built up their opponents and then even in beating them, made them look like a million bucks because of it, because they knew that rewards would come from patience.

#1 the booking 101 comment was towards Trav and his comment not you Kurt and you know it so don't even start with an attack on me. Yes it did kill the Syndicate Feud, why because this crushing happened on the eve of Winter Warfare, IRL it would be fresh in everyone's minds. Not what happened in the match but The Krieg destroying everyone it made the champion and challenger look week in a feud they had nothing to do with.
This is coming from an outside party because I've been beaten down week after week and I don't complain because I use Eagles to put people over and it's always a massive attack. The Krieg didn't destroy 5 jobbers by themselves it was 5 of the KoP's best stars including a champion. All anyone is saying is they felt it was too much. I read the match, I've watched the storyline the entire time it was built and feeding a champion to them to build them right before WW is the issue here. Had it been done weeks ago where these people could be made to at least look somewhat good again then cool, ya sure. Some people didn't agree with it we've expressed our feelings and the first thing I said in my review was the changes that were made were very good. I loved the show, it had a downfall I just felt killed some heat going into WW.

I'll be blunt, I didn't know that segment was going to happen, but if anybody's paid attention to The Krieg's gimmick, it makes sense. Complete sense actually. The two men's gimmick is silent, military trained, killers. The fact that they're in a wrestling federation and have been being beaten down week in and week out for the past few weeks, would essentially be more than enough of a push for two giant men to beat down six men that just wrestled a 15 minute match, effectively beating each other down.
Was it the best way to go about getting heat between Renaissance and Kreig? Probably not, but don't say it makes no sense, because it does. The Krieg have built their name on kicking ass, and kicking six men's ass, if they were all fresh, would be idiotic, but they didn't do that. They beat them down AFTER a 15 minute match. I don't know about all of you, but wrestling 15 minutes, tag team or not, is exhausting. You all know I'm a wrestler myself, I think Josh has done some wrestling, and I think the both of us can attest that wrestling 5 minutes is tiring, so 15 minutes of being beaten down and beating your opponents down would be exhausting.
So, for the reasons of the six men already having wrestled for 15 minutes, the Krieg's gimmick itself, and the Krieg's former claim to fame (along with the fact that they've been cemented as a main event team, that if competing in singles would likely be Valiant contenders), the segment did make sense.
I understand that there are things that we need to work on, every fed does. None of us are professional bookers,we're all going to make mistakes, but to criticize us and tell us it doesn't make sense when it does, that's asinine.
And as for the comment about killing heat going into Winter Warfare, that's a double edged sword, in a sense, yes we lost some heat going into WW, that's no good, but at the other side, we've gained heat by starting the war with UWL, so the payoff when the battle between KoP and UWL actually comes to fruition, the event would be bigger, which I believe, would be enough to afford the loses that may have occured at WW and then some.
Just my opinion on the issues, and if I come off as irritated, then I didn't intend to. I understand everybody's concern, but constructive criticism and just blatant criticism are quite different, and when Kyle and I put so much work into everything to only have one specific segment pointed out and dissected as it has been, and the rest of the show ignored, it's irritating. If every segment were to receive this much attention (which I don't expect and I'd probably not read all of it if every single segment received four paragraphs per review) it wouldn't be as irritating, but again, it is what it is. Your opinion's have been noted and will be put into consideration when Kyle and I are booking in the future.

You know what? Drunktrav says this
Blame me. I don't give a single fuck. I made characters designed to murder every one of you fucking bastards and I've done it. I put in more effort weekly than most guys put in per month so if I wanna go over, I fucking go over.
If this situaton was the other way around the the Illuminati beat the Krieg down, this convo wouldn't happen...so stop being fucking babies about it.
I doubt Flap has an issue, I doubt Obscene has an issue...so grow balls and roll with it...don't whine and criticize Kyle, who's under enough goddamn stress as it is. KEep in mind he's an 18 year old kid giving us more than we deserve weekly...so don't whine and bash him, for fuck's sake
Blame me. I can take it...and I don't give a fuck.

And in case anyone missed the point...I'm blatantly trolling with that post. Stop being so goddamn negative when the show was so good. Put your feelings about me and my characters aside and looks at what was done with Dru...Johnny...UWL...etc.
Kyle is under too much stress for you backseat driving crybabies to put him over a bad mood because of ONE segment you don't like.

Jezza hit the nail on the head. This isn't 5 people who have prepared for this and are working together. These are people who have just had a hard fought match AGAINST EACH OTHER - so I don't know how well they'll work together or how well they'll be able to cope with an attack. If we're talking realism someone like Khali irl comes out and does that sort of stuff on his own to people (or at least did).
Whether it's meant to be or not all this comes off as whining - and I genuinly don't believe that some of you intend it to be as such. But take a step back and look at what you've written. Any other objections maybe PM Kyle or J-Star.

Trav, you do realise your second post pretty much confirmed your first was indeed NOT trolling, right? But okay, if I start writing matches and a bunch of segments for pointless characters then I can do whatever the fuck I want and expect to go over all the time too"? Good to know.
But one thing. Just because you choose to spend every spare minute of your day on efedding, that doesn't make you any better than us. We RP. We joined this fed to RP, that's all. That doesn't make us fucking "backseat babies", that makes us people with better things to do than all efedding all day. You acting all high and mighty because you do that shit and then brushing it off as "trolling" or being drunk is getting extremely tiring.
But for now I guess it's safe to say Jim and I will be jobbing at WW, that's cool. We must make Travis feel good about himself after all.

Take the 'flame war' to PM and that starts with you Trav. Once again I'll state ya it makes sense the Krieg destroys people ... but why not destroy MMF and LML after the tag match and bury two tag teams, still look strong and build heat that way? Why step into that match specifically? I mean Trav if you are going to have these tag teams doesn't it make sense to use them to put your own character over?
Next off none of what you said applies to me as I've worked hard from day one and I think Jer/Kyle do a terrific job and KoP is one of the best feds I've ever been in. As a matter of fact had you not posted most of this stuff wouldn't have gotten to here. Ya sure to the Krieg storyline it makes sense but that is it that is the only thing it makes sense to and that's a damn midcard feud at the moment.

DID U KNOW?King cobras make nests. Generally snakes show little or no parental care. But a pair of King Cobra will cooperate to find a suitable nesting spot. Nests are built usually in the month of April. Despite having no limbs, the female remarkably constructs her nest of dead leaves by scooping them up with her large body. Females then lay approximately 20-50 eggs, two months after mating, with an incubation period ranging from 60 to 80 days. The female will then lie on the nest until just before the eggs hatch, at which point instinct will cause the mother to leave the young so as to prevent her from eating them. The male king cobra is similarly unique in that he stays to guard the nesting area, until the young hatch, patrolling a large area around the nest for threats. Such complex nesting and rearing behavior is unique among snakes. No other snake shows any parental care. AND...Flying snakes only glide in the air, they can’t fly. They virtually swim through the air and can glide a distance of 100m. It can only glide by extending its ribs and pulling in the underside. LET'S NOT FORGET...The Black Mamba This is one snake that you are unlikely to choose as a pet. There are a few good reasons for this. One, it would be illegal to own this snake, and with good reason. In addition to being one of the fastest snakes on the planet (it is able to reach speeds of up to 12 miles per hour), it is also one of the most dangerous. If you are bitten by a Black Mamba, you are probably not going to survive. In fact, only about five percent of victims live to tell the tale. OH, AND HOW COULD I LEAVE THIS OUT???In ancient Greece, the sick and injured sought the aid of the god of healing and medicine, Asklepios. They took an offering to the temple and waited for the god to come to them in their dreams, or to send his sacred servants, the snakes. Ancient writings tell of the snakes healing with a touch of the tongue. The snake in question was the Aesculapian snake. The Romans chose to import this snake to their own temples, rather than to bring in Greek healers. The snake today forms part of the symbol of physicians and veterinarians (the snake is wrapped around Asklepios' staff), linking snakes to millennia of healing and medical practice. Well, I think that's---WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!!A snake's heart can slide 1 to 1 1/2 times its length from its normal position, to allow the passage of swallowed prey. This is because of the relative mobility of the pericardial sac, which surrounds the heart. WOW! Did you know all that?!?! I sure didn't!!!!!It looks like Mr. Black Mamba didn't know all this, and he IS a snake! He's speechless, so you should all follow his lead!

I locked the topic. I don't think anyone will disagree with that logic. There are several comments in this topic that have made me feel ashamed, embarrassed, and just plain frustrated. I'll be sending out PM's to the people that made those comments. I don't need to do it here.
I've also sent out a personal apology to both Kid and Callaway, in hindsight, look to have been the only people that were unnecessarily involved in this. I'll probably to sending another to Jim and Andy in just a few minutes.
That's all, I guess.
