The guitar riff at the start of 'Remedy' by Cold plays and he steps through the curtain he has as an entrance attire of a black coat. He stands at the top of the isle and makes a praying style taunt with a mattitude V1 hand gesture (he has three fingers together with his nose in the middle of the first two before wiping his nose in a Rikishi style before walking with a strut to he ring (he thinks he's God he's gonna strut) Once in the ring he moves to the first corner he can be bothered walking to he then climbs to the middle turnbuckle and does the same V1 Prayer taunt
Ike Rose: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit and is a qualifying match for the Pride Cup Championship! Introducing first, from Sacramento, California, weighing in at 234 pounds, Stephen Callaway!
“Gardenia” by Kyuss hits the sound system. The intro guitar solo builds up, and Esix Cordero slaps aside the curtain, followed closely by his manager Skeeter Butts. His face is concealed by a red towel which is draped over his head. He saunters down towards the ring – eyes locked to the ground. He then climbs the stairs and enters the ring, bouncing and pumping himself up for the match.
Ike Rose: And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by his manager Skeeter Butts, from Phoenix, Arizona, weighing in at 170 pounds, Esix Cordero!
Eric Witz: There’s your winner, the knock out artist, the man of the elbow, Esix Cordero.
Keith Oswalt: I think Stephen Callaway could be the one who stops the knock out streak. The man seems to always find a way to win when things are looking most bleak for him, and after his loss to Rich Hamilton at Winter Warfare last week, things are looking pretty bleak for him.
Eric Witz: Please, Esix Cordero can’t be beat, he knocks people out for a living, a few elbows and Stephen Callaway will be done. Not even an angle can save him.
As the match begins, Esix Cordero looks across the ring at Stephen Callaway who begins to walk towards him. Getting within reach, Esix Cordero kicks out and lands a solid, stiff kick on Callaway’s leg, catching Callaway off guard. Pulling his leg back in quickly, Esix now rushes forward and strikes Callaway with a fist to the head, nearly knocking him over with the sheer amount of force put behind the blow. Charging in and trying to take Callaway off of his feet, Esix grabs Callaway’s legs and attempts to grab him and throw him to the ground, but as he does this, Callaway wraps his arm around Esix’s head and sucks his body in close onto Esix’s shoulder before falling backwards and driving Esix head first into the mat with a DDT.
Stopping the onslaught with the single move, Callaway follows up on his DDT by sitting Esix up into a seated position and planting his knee into his back, before grasping Esix’s arms and pulling Esix’s back into his knee, stretching him out in the process. Finally releasing Esix’s arms Callaway locks Esix into a chin lock, trying to tire him out and wear him down for his bigger moves. Despite this theory, Esix shows no signs of being tired as he fights up to his feet and finally lands a few elbows on Callaway and pushes him away after doing so. Rushing back towards Esix, Callaway appears to take Esix Cordero off guard as he nails him with a lariat, knocking him to the mat.
After hitting the lariat, Callaway lifts Esix back to his feet and tosses him to the ropes and when Esix bounces back, Callaway whips Esix to the mat with a powerslam! Hooking Esix’s leg, Callaway goes for a cover,
1...
Kick out!
Showing off his innate resiliency, Esix Cordero powers out of Callaway’s cover as Callaway scoops Esix back up to his feet and here kicks him in the stomach before whipping off a snap suplex on Esix Cordero. Despite the move, both men get back to their feet and here Stephen Callaway is able to take advantage before Esix can as he whips off an arm drag on him, taking Esix to the ground. Despite the arm drag, Esix Cordero gets back up to his feet and as he does this, Stephen Callaway hit’s a dropkick on him, knocking him back into the ropes. Quickly getting back up onto his feet, Callaway rushes over to Esix Cordero and snapmaring him over his shoulders and standing right back up to a standing position and whipping off a brutal kick to Esix’s back to finish off the Spinal Tap (Snapmare into a Kick)!
Eric Witz: Come on Esix, you got this! Just hit him with the big elbow and he’ll go down!
Keith Oswalt: I’m telling you, Stephen Callaway has the right angle to beat Esix Cordero.
Eric Witz: Angles don’t have anything on elbows. Take that angle and shove it, Esix Cordero will knock the man of angles out!
Following the kick to the back, Stephen Callaway grabs Esix Cordero’s head before jumping forward and flipping over Esix’s body and making his head hit the mat and snap back. After doing this, Stephen Callaway goes for a cover over Esix Cordero, hoping to get the win and advance to the tournament,
1...
2...
Kick out!
Despite the kick out, Stephen Callaway stays focused on Esix Cordero and pulls him back up to his feet. Now whipping him off to the ropes, Callaway ducks down and as Cordero reaches him, pops back up, hitting a back body drop on Cordero in the process. Slamming into the mat, Cordero holds his back as he works over towards the ropes and leans over them in the process. Now running towards Cordero, Callaway grabs a hold of the ropes as he hit’s a swinging side kick on Cordero! Getting out of the ring and looking at Cordero, Stephen Callaway signals for him to move as he stands on the apron, ready to springboard. Just as Cordero turns around, Callaway finally hops up onto the top rope and springboards off, but as he reaches Cordero, Cordero nails him with a brutal punch to the jaw!
Eric Witz: Look at that reaction time! Beautiful work by the knock out artist!
Keith Oswalt: I can’t deny him of that, he definitely swapped the momentum with that single blow.
Falling backwards after hit, Cordero mounts on top of him and begins to brutally attack him with multiple forearms and elbows! After several of these shots, Cordero lifts Callaway back up to his feet before nailing him with a Norris’d (Roundhouse kick to the temple)! Falling to the mat, Callaway appears near lifeless after the brutal kick. Following this, Cordero grins as he looks to Skeeter on the outside and finally lifts Callaway’s body up and locks Callaway into a Muerte (Crucifix Hold with MMA Elbows)! Crashing down with repeated, brutal elbows and reaching upwards of fifteen elbow shots to the side of Callaway’s head, finally forcing the referee to call an end to the match as Callaway is unable to so much as defend himself from the devastating attacks.
Ike Rose: Here is your winner, at 5 minutes and 15 seconds, by knock out, Esix Cordero!
Eric Witz: Death by elbow! That man is unstoppable!
Keith Oswalt: He moves onto the semi-finals where he’ll have the chance to compete in the main event next week and become the first ever winner of the Pride Cup Championship. He definitely has all the potential in the world to get it done.
Following another knock out victory, Esix Cordero climbs out of the ring and joins his manager Skeeter Butts, wiping the sweat off of his forehead as he walks to the back.

“Princes of the Universe” plays over the loudspeaker. Dustin Douglas walks out slowly and methodically. Once he reaches the ring, he jumps flat footed onto the ring apron. He wipes his boots on the apron and enters the ring. Dustin then kneels on one knee, waiting for the match to start.
Ike Rose: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, with a 15 minute time limit, and is a Pride Cup Championship Qualifying Match! Introducing first, from Nashville, Tennessee, weighing in at 285 pounds, Dustin Douglas!
All of the lights in the Arena go dark as one single spotlight shines in front of the entrance curtain. As “Not Going Away” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to start up, Rich Hamilton appears out of the curtain and steps into the vicinity of the spotlight. Rich looks around and scans the crowd a bit. The crowd is booing loudly as Rich Hamilton arrogantly walks to the ringside area. Rich walks up the ring steps slowly and then enters the ring via the middle rope. He quickly runs up to the middle rope of the nearest turnbuckle and raises his arms above his head. He flips off the crowd before jumping down and running the ropes a bit.
Ike Rose: And the second combatant in this match, weighing in at 210 pounds, from Long Island, New York, Rich Hamilton!
The lights dim to darkness during the intro to ‘Press Gang’, white lights begin to flicker as the drums kick in. Paul Sant takes a few big steps out from the back. He then stands up straight and takes a look around the now satisfied looking crowd while nodding his head in approval and his hands on his hips. He then walks down to the ring with a smirk on his face with an arm raised in the air. He slides into the ring and runs to the opposite corner and stands on the middle rope. The audiences loves it as begins to talk trash about his opponent while looking at various sections of the place.
Ike Rose: And their final opponent, from Murder City, USA, he weighs in at 218 pounds, Paul Sant!
Keith Oswalt: And now it’s time for our second of six scheduled qualifying matches in the Pride Cup Championship Tournament. While KoP fans may be unfamiliar with Paul Sant, he’s no stranger to those who followed Pro Wrestling FIRE as he was one of the biggest names in the company, defeating Jack Benevolence in the final night to become the last ever PWF World Heavyweight Champion.
Eric Witz: Across from him is a guy who’s slightly more familiar to the KoP fans who’s time also goes back to PWF. Dustin Douglas has been out of the Kingdom of Pride for quite a while, barring his appearance last week at Winter Warfare, one of his last acts in front of the crowd being our new Valiant champion Christian Kane brutally assaulting him.
Keith Oswalt: And finally, there’s Rich Hamilton, who, despite coming off a win at Winter Warfare, has reportedly officially handed in his resignation, stating that after his contractual obligations, which last through the Pride Cup Championship end, he will be leaving the Kingdom.
Having briefly ran down each of the three wrestlers in the match, the bell rings for the match to begin. Looking across the ring at each other, Paul Sant looks at Rich Hamilton before rushing towards him and going for a leaping lariat, nailing it on him and catching him off guard by slamming him into the turnbuckles while sliding his legs through the ropes and sliding out onto the apron. Wasting little time, Paul Sant springboards over the top rope, grabbing Rich Hamilton by the back of the head and hitting him with an impact face buster! Before he’s able to get up from the big move he hit on Hamilton, Paul Sant is attacked from behind by Dustin Douglas, who stomps on him repeatedly before lifting him up and landing him with a big right hand.
Knocking Sant back into the ropes, Douglas whips Sant across the ropes. Hitting the ropes and bouncing back at Douglas, Douglas ducks his head under Sant’s arm before throwing him overhead with an exploder overhead suplex! Letting Sant crash down on his upper back, Douglas shakes his head at Sant before getting back to his feet. Before he’s able to continue his onslaught on Sant, Rich Hamilton appears to have recovered and attacks Douglas from behind, throwing forearms into Dustin’s back and kicking him in the back of the thighs, knocking Dustin Douglas down to a knee. Taking Douglas down to his knee, Hamilton now throws a big elbow to the back of Dustin’s head, knocking him to the ground. Now turning his attention to his other opponent, Hamilton sees Sant beginning to get back up to his feet, but being sure to not let Sant attack him again, Hamilton rushes over.
Putting Sant in a quick front headlock, Rich squeezes Sant’s head before throwing his arm over him and lifting Sant up off of the mat and pulling him up into a suplex position. Holding Sant here, Rich suddenly falls backwards, dropping Sant back first onto the mat with a vertical suplex. Now floating over into a cover, Rich hooks Sant’s leg,
1...
2...
Kick out!
Keith Oswalt: Impressive strength shown by Hamilton, but he’ll have to hit more than that to pin a former PWF World Heavyweight champion!
Eric Witz: Paul Sant’s definitely not going to go down easily, but we’ve seen great outings by Rich Hamilton in the past, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him win the whole tournament altogether!
Keith Oswalt: I think the both of us are counting out Douglas right now, who has competed with the best wrestlers in the world and held his own, he’s no pushover either!
As Rich gets back up to his feet, from behind him, Dustin Douglas sprints at him and boots him in the back of the head, knocking Rich down and into the ropes. Now lifting Rich back from the ropes, Douglas throws Rich back off to the ropes and as Rich Hamilton hit’s the ropes and sprints back at Douglas, Douglas nearly decapitates Rich with a brutal lariat, flipping Hamilton over in the process! Grinning as he lifts the downed man back up, Douglas doesn’t waste much time as he quickly grabs Rich by the neck and tosses him to the mat with a uranage. Going for a cover after doing this, Douglas hooks Rich’s leg,
1...
2...
Paul Sant breaks the cover!
Stomping Douglas in the shoulder and backing away from him, Douglas begins to get up, but as he does this, Sant sprints towards him and while Dustin is still on his knees, Sant rockets off a dropkick, landing the kick in the side of Douglas’s head! Getting up and screaming to get the crowd behind him, Sant runs at the ropes now and leaps up onto the second rope before spring boarding back and hitting Douglas with the 180 degrees of leg drop (Springboard spinning leg drop)! After hitting this, Sant gets back up to his feet as he sees Rich Hamilton getting up to his feet. Now moving over to Hamilton, Sant nails him with a step-up enziguri, knocking him back again. Now grabbing Hamilton by the head, Sant runs at the turnbuckles before flipping over and hitting The Path for Truth (Shiranui) on Hamilton! Going for a cover on Hamilton, Sant hooks the leg,
1...
2...
Douglas breaks up the cover!
Slamming the mat, Sant turns around and looks at Douglas, but before he can move, Douglas lifts Sant up to his feet and whips Sant to the ropes, now running to the opposite rope, Douglas sprints back towards Paul Sant, nailing him with the Dusty Rub (The Pounce)! Now covering Paul Sant himself, Douglas hooks Sant’s leg,
1...
2...
Kick out!
Keith Oswalt: Oh my god! Sant kicked out!
Eric Witz: Incredible resiliency! He’s definitely showing why he deserved to be the last World Heavyweight champion for Pro Wrestling FIRE!
Slamming the mat and screaming at Paul Sant, Douglas gets back up to his feet and pulls Rich Hamilton up as well. Slapping Hamilton, Douglas knocks Rich back before hitting him with an elbow. After doing this, Douglas whips Hamilton to the ropes and as Rich bounces back, Douglas spins him around before planting him in the mat with a Double D Spinebuster (Arn Anderson Spinning Spinebuster)! Now going over into a cover on Hamilton, Douglas pins,
1...
2...
Paul Sant breaks the cover up with a stiff punt kick to Douglas’s face! Now lifting Douglas up to his feet and tossing him out to the floor, Sant looks back at Rich Hamilton before locking him into The Call of Justice (Elevated Texas Cloverleaf)! Sitting back and locking the move in tightly, Sant keeps Rich locked in the middle of the ring! Finally unable to move, Rich Hamilton is forced to tap out, allowing Sant to move onto the Pride Cup Championship Tournament rounds!
Ike Rose: Here is your winner, via submission, at 8 minutes and 17 seconds, Paul Sant!
Keith Oswalt: Huge win for Paul Sant as he shows that even after five months of no regular competition, he’s still one of the best wrestlers in the world.
Eric Witz: And unfortunately for Rich Hamilton, he’ll be leaving Pride with only the chance to be the consolation prize winner, not quite the way he’d like to go out, I imagine.
Following the win, Paul Sant smiles as his music plays and he walks to the back, slapping hands of the front row fans.

The heavy riff intro of "Shake your Blood" by Probot hits the speakers as the crowd rocket in unison to their feet. Up in arms, the loyal "brothers and sisters" of gearhead sensation Eddie Nash boom their support as the man himself walks out of the curtain dressed in full leathers. Eddie grins as his adoring fans roar with delight, making Eddie's ego almost as big as Lemmie's moles. He saunters down the ramp high-fiving the fans while focusing his entire attention on the ring as Lemmie's lyrics kick in. He slides into the ring and bounces to his feet, throwing a fist in the air as he does this causing a synonymous "FUCK YEAH!" to erupt from the fans. Again Eddie throws up a fist as he slips out of his jacket and awaits his opponent's challenge with the music now starting to die down.
Ike Rose: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit and is a Pride Cup Championship qualifying match! Introducing first, from Knoxville, Tennessee, weighing in at 245 pounds, “The King of the Road” Eddie Nash!
"Mr. Brightside" by The Killers hits as smoke begins to fill the entrance way. Cage makes his way down to the ring with a serious expression on his face. He climbs the turnbuckle and embraces the crowd.
Ike Rose: And his opponent, from Falkirk, Scotland, weighing in at 230 pounds, Stuart Cage!
Keith Oswalt: A rematch of sorts between these two men as they wrestled in a triple threat match last week that included Jerome.
Eric Witz: A match that saw Eddie Nash go home the winner. I can’t see this match ending differently.
Keith Oswalt: I’m sure Stuart Cage could see it ending differently.
The bell rings, and the match is under way. A section of the crowd begins to cheer on the hometown favorite Eddie Nash. He turns to acknowledge them with a point, but Stu Cage takes the opportunity to charge on him. He whacks Nash in the back of the head, sending him into the corner. Stu takes advantage of his stunned opponent with some shots to the ribs. The cluster of Nash fans vehemently boos Cage, who pays no mind. Cage lands one stronger blow to the sternum of Nash, knocking the wind out of him. He stumbles forward, grimacing, but Cage allows him no time to recover. He rushes behind Nash and plants his face into the mat with a bulldog. Stu cockily rises to his feet, showboating to the crowd. He turns around to Nash, but is greeted by a takedown, driving him into the mat. Nash mounts Cage and begins popping him with left and right hooks, garnering a nice pop from the fans.
After the revenge assault, Nash brings Cage to his feet. He pops him with a couple jabs for good measure before whipping him into the ropes. On the rebound, Nash lines up Cage for a big boot. Cage ducks under the boot, and dashes to the opposite ropes to gain momentum. Cage springs off the ropes and hits Nash with a running neckbreaker. Cage pops to his feet and begins stomping down on Nash’s midsection. Nash rolls over, clutching at his ribs and wincing in pain. Nash gets on all fours to rise to his feet, but Cage taunts him with a slap on the bald head of Nash. Cage approaches Nash to bring him to his feet, but Nash reacts with a shot to the midsection. Cage lets out a big OOF and is briefly stunned. Nash then rises up and gets Cage into a clinch. The two men wrestle in the lock up, but Nash gets a hold of Cage’s head, driving him down into a big knee lift.
Cage stumbles back into the ropes, dazed and beginning to bleed above his eyebrow. Nash wastes no time on the attack, charging after the unaware Cage. He lifts Cage up and muscles him over the ropes. Cage manages to grasp onto the top rope, preventing him from toppling to the ground. Cage stands on the apron, still a bit dazed and confused. Nash grabs Cage and bashes his leaking head into the turnbuckle. While the blow clearly hurts Cage, he still doesn’t drop to the ground. Cage lies on the apron, instinctively holding onto the bottom rope. Nash tries to boot him off, but Cage remains persistent. Nash, growing impatient, sprints over to the opposite ropes as Cage rises to his feet. He leans on the top rope for support, seemingly unaware that Ed Nash is dashing towards him with reckless abandon. Nash dives, looking to drive Cage and himself to the ground with the Drop the Hammer (running spear). Cage, however, manages to duck out of the way just in time. Nash goes flying through the ropes and crashes into the guard rails, crumpling his body.
Eric Witz: Come on Nash! You could have killed him there!
Keith Oswalt: Recklessness could cost the brute the match.
Eric Witz: How can you dislike Eddie Nash, the man’s done nothing wrong!
Keith Oswalt: Not yet, he hasn’t. Have you ever seen his record? He’s a bad man Witz!
Eric Witz: Aren’t you the one that believes people can change? So much for that philosophy.
As the fans focus on Nash, trying to cheer him to get up, the referee begins his count.
1…
Stu Cage, who is now bleeding rather heavily, rolls underneath the ropes and lies in the ring to catch his breath.
2...
Cage begins to rise to his feet, smirking at the realization that his opponent may be counted out for his recklessness.
3…
Eddie Nash begins to stir, though he is recovering rather slowly.
4…
Cage is now to his feet. He wipes some of the blood out of his eyes.
5…
Eddie is now on all fours, but he still looks hurt. He begins to crawl towards the ring. The crowd is now cheering him on as hard as they can.
6…
Cage wearily taunts Nash, signaling him to get up.
7…
Nash has now made his way to the side of the ring and grasps onto the apron to help him to his feet.
8…
Nash finally rolls into the ring, but is greeted by a big stomp from Cage. He goes for the cover.
1…
2…
Kick out! Keith Oswalt: Come on Cage! You can get this!
Eric Witz: I doubt it, Eddie Nash just needs to get back into the zone!
Cage pops up in frustration. The blood from his cut drips down his face onto the mat. He lifts Ed Nash and shoves his head between his thighs. He locks in the underhooks, prepared to hit the Spike Driver (spike Pedigree). When Cage goes to lift Nash up, he doesn’t budge. Instead, Nash grabs the back of Cage’s legs and tosses him over his head, plopping Cage on his back. Nash drops to his knees in exhaustion.
The crowd goes into a frenzy for Nash. He slowly rises to his feet, as does Cage. They both get up at about the same time, but Cage rushes after Nash. Nash reacts quickly, driving a knee into Cage’s gut. Nash then grabs a hold of Cage’s torso and violently drops him with the Highway to Hell (180 gutwrench powerbomb). Nash goes for the cover,
1…
2…
3!
Ike Rose: Here is your winner, via pinfall, at 7 minutes and 10 seconds, “The King of the Road” Eddie Nash!
Eric Witz: Eddie Nash emerges victorious! He’s my pick to win the whole tournament!
Keith Oswalt: He’s a bad man, he’ll get what’s coming to him eventually.
Eric Witz: You just don’t want to believe he’s changed, why are you so against him anyways?
Keith Oswalt: I have my own reasons, he doesn’t deserve all the respect he’s received.
Grinning at his hardfought victory, Eddie Nash gets out of the ring and walks to the back, slapping a few hands as he does so.

Ike Rose: And finally, weighing in at 190 pounds, and hailing from Monterrey, Mexico...Obscene!
The bell rings, and all three men stare one another down, with Obscene and Kid particularly keeping their eyes on one another. The three men move together...when suddenly, Obscene jumps over, and begins to hammer merciessly on Kid! He backs him into a corner, as Dru watches on. Obscene eventually pounds him down, before stepping back...but apparently forgetting Dru is there! Obscene spins around, and gets blasted with a short clothesline. Dru gets up, and suddenly, Kid jumps off the turnbuckle...but Dru catches him in mid-air, and slams him down with a powerslam right onto Obscene!
Keith Oswalt: Tha Merc has taken an early control of this match-up, capitalizing on the grudge between Kid Flanagan and Obscene.
Eric Witz: The enemy of my enemy is...well, still my enemy. What a stupid adage.
Obscene rolls away, and Dru picks up Kid, shoving him into a corner. Dru begins to lay into Kid with some massive forearms, before Irish Whipping him. Dru then charges Kid, but Kid rolls away, and Dru slams the turnbuckle. As Dru stumbles back, Kid nails him with a jumping knee strike, but Dru merely stumbles back. Kid then runs it, and jumps up for a cutter, but Dru shoves him in mid-air, and Kid slams back first against the turnbuckle! Kid charges him again, but this time, Dru drops him with a Lou Thez Press, and slams into Kid with his massive forearms. Dru lifts up Kid, and kicks him in the stomach, before going off the ropes. Dru goes for a bicycle kick, but Kid moves, and as Dru recovers, Kid goes for another Kid Kick, but Dru grabs him, and lifts him up for a Bear Hug!
Keith Oswalt: That Bearhug has proved to be so efficient in Dru's time here in Pride. With Obscene nowhere in sight, how much longer can Kid hold on?
Eric Witz:Five, four, three...
However, Obscene, on the apron, springboards into the ring, dropkicking Kid right into Dru, whos slams into the turnbuckle! Dru doesn't let go, but Obscene then runs forward, and begins to rake at his eyes, forcing him to drop Kid Flanagan! Kid tires to get up, but Obscene begins to savagely kick his ribs, over and over, until Kid can't even get up.Obscene lifts up Kid, laying it a few smore shots to his ribs, before locking in a Mexican Surfboard. Kid yells out, but refuses to give up, despite his injured side. Kid tries to fight out of it, and gets close enough to the ropes to do so, Obscene finally lets go, but continues to hammer on Kid's ribs. He then locks Kid in a Vioator (Angel's Wings) position, but Kid swings out, and pulls Obscene up, going for a Kid Wins! The beginning notes of "Welcome to the Family" by Avenged Sevenfold are heard. Luke Haven walks out after first big pulse in music. Looks around at the crowd then heads to the ring, almost stalking as he walks. Jumps into the ring, ready to fight.
Ike Rose: The following contest is a singles match with a 15 minute time limit. Introducing first, weighing in at 230 pounds, from Leighton, Alabama, Luke Haven!
'King of the World' plays over the P.A. as the fans rise to their feet and cheer as Josh Eagles burst through the curtain throwing the KoP Valiant Championship high above his head.. Slowly he makes his way to the ring slapping hands with fans, giving some hugs out and shaking hands. Finally he rolls under the bottom rope and stands in the center of the ring and lifts the Valiant championship above his head turning around and smiling at the crowd before handing it to the ref and going to the corner to stretch out for the match.
Ike Rose: And introducing his opponent, weighing in at 195 pounds, from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, Josh Eagles!
Keith Oswalt: Strange not hearing him introduced as the Valiant Champion.
Eric Witz: Heh, yeah, he’s gonna be looking to vent some frustrations on the newbie.
Keith Oswalt: Josh Eagles is a good sport. I’m sure he has no malicious intentions… For Luke Haven, anyways…
The bell rings, and Josh Eagles offers his hand in good will. Luke Haven looks at him skeptically. Eagles assures that his gesture is in good will. Haven slowly extends his hand and bumps fists with Eagles, and the match is under way. The men square up, circling about the ring. Haven jabs with a right, and Eagles dodges it. Another jab from Haven is swatted away and Eagles shoots for the lock up. The men muscle each other, but the veteran Eagles gains the advantage. He whips Haven into the ropes. Haven bounces back and ducks a clothesline, hitting the opposite ropes. He rebounds at full force, but Eagles drops down and plants Haven with a drop toe hold. Haven pops back up and takes a swing at Eagles, but it’s ducked. Eagles comes back with an elbow, knocking Haven back a few steps. Haven wastes no time, and goes right back at Eagles locking up with him. Eagles shoves him back, sending Haven into the corner. Eagles goes after the rookie with a knee to the gut. He then whips Haven to the opposite corner and charges after him. Haven dodges from Eagles, and turns around. Eagles comes at Haven, but Luke stuns him with a swift kick to the gut. Haven then connects with a dropkick, dropping Eagles to the mat. Eagles quickly scrambles to his feet, looking a bit surprised.
Keith Oswalt: Looks like the rookie shouldn’t be underestimated!
Eric Witz: Eagles is losing his touch, Keith. That’s why he’s not the champ anymore!
Keith Oswalt: I wouldn’t say that at all. Even though he’s no longer the champion, Eagles is still one of the best KoP has to offer.
Haven stands ready with his dukes up. Eagles nods his head, showing respect for Haven. Luke shoots in for another lock up, but Eagles drops and takes him down with an arm drag. Eagles hangs on to the arm and wrenches it back. Haven extends his other arm for the ropes and grasps on for the rope break. Eagles obliges, and releases the hold. He lifts Haven up to his feet and snaps him over with a suplex, planting him in the center of the ring. Haven sits up, but Eagles is quick and locks in a sleeper hold. Haven doesn’t give his neck, but Eagles holds tight. Haven grits his teeth and manages to get a knee underneath him. He slowly rises to his feet, still locked in the hold. He grabs Eagles arm, trying to pry the veteran off him, but Eagles doesn’t budge. Haven leans forward and manages to hit an elbow to the guy of Eagles. Eagles’ hold loosens, and Haven manages to pry himself out of the hold. Eagles doesn’t give Haven much time to catch his breath, grabbing his wrist and applying a hammerlock. Haven wriggles around and twists out of the hold. He scoops up Eagles and slams him to the mat. Haven then bounces off the ropes and drops a big elbow on Eagles. Haven is now clearly pumped up, and drops another elbow on his opponent. Eagles writhes in the center of the ring as Haven signals to the turnbuckle. He quickly ascends to the turnbuckle, but Eagles pops to his feet and hits an elbow on Haven, dropping him to a prone position. Eagles avoids any high risk maneuvers, instead tossing Haven off the turnbuckle, sending him crashing to the mat.
Eric Witz: Nice going, kid! You blew your chance.
Keith Oswalt: Naturally he’s looking to impress in his debut match… Unfortunately for him, he won’t be able to pull that on the ring smart Eagles.
Haven winces in pain, and Eagles quickly covers him for the pin.

2-Kick out!
Eagles circles his downed opponent and stomps down on him. Haven rolls over attempting to avoid the boots, but Eagles swoops in and locks a single leg Boston crab. Haven grunts in pain, pushing himself up to try and gain some leverage. He looks about for an escape route, but Eagles has the submission applied masterfully. Slowly, Haven crawls towards the ropes. Eagles leans back, applying more pressure to the leg. Haven cries out in pain, but persists onward towards the ropes, one hand in front of the other. He is now about two feet away from the ropes. With all his might, Haven lunges out towards the bottom rope and hugs it with both arms. Eagles releases the hold. Haven struggles to his feet, using the ropes to assist him. Eagles presses Haven against the ropes and hits a couple elbows for good measure. Haven displays his surprisingly good endurance by returning with a strong back elbow. Eagles stumbles backwards, stunned. Haven rubs the knee that Eagles had the submission in. He then approaches Eagles and locks up with him. Haven then grabs Eagles’ head and rolls him up with a pin attempt.

Kick out!
Keith Oswalt: Oh, wow! The rookie almost stole a victory there!
Eric Witz: I’m telling you, man… Eagles is but a shade of his former self. The old Eagles would have seen that coming!
Keith Oswalt: Sure, why don’t you tell him that yourself?
Eagles pops up quicker than Haven, but receives a blow to the sternum from the kneeling Haven. Haven grabs Eagles’ arms and slides between his legs with intentions of hitting his finisher, the Vertigo (Chemical Imbalance II). Eagles however, delivers a mule kick with such force that it sends Haven back into the ropes. Eagles turns and, seemingly from out of nowhere, hits the Code Breaker. Haven lies on the mat, out cold. Eagles rises to his feet and locks in the Walls of Joshico (Lion Tamer). Haven struggles, but eventually realizes he has no choice but to tap out. The bell rings as “King of the World” begins to play.
Ike Rose: Here is your winner, via submission, at 6 minutes and 54 seconds, Josh Eagles!
Eric Witz: Dumb move, kid…
Keith Oswalt: Hey, give him credit. He put up a tough fight on the former champ.
Eric Witz: Credit? Credit is earned, my friend.
Keith Oswalt: You didn’t seem to give Eagles much credit, and he’s a former champ…
Eric Witz: Key word, former.
Eagles turns to the fatigued Haven and extends his hand. Haven winces in pain, but returns the handshake. The fans cheer the rookie’s effort as Eagles raises his arm.

Flap Flanagan emerges walking down to the ring Holding his Dr Pepper Championship in his hands. He reaches to the ring and he gets in the ring and then goes to the center of the ring and holds up his Dr Pepper Championship then puts it on his shoulder as he thumps his chest with his fist.
Ike Rose: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit and is the scheduled main event of the evening! Introducing first, from Parkland, Washington, weighing in at 185 pounds, Flap Flanagan!
"You Know My Name" booms throughout the arena as DeSalto emerges from backstage with a pretty woman on his arm. As the men and moral women in the crowd boo him, the majority of women in attendance silently swoon. He looks to the commentators and gives them a smug wink, making Keith Oswalt shake his head in disgust. DeSalto rolls under the bottom rope and immediately ascends a turnbuckle, motioning at his six pack for the women in attendance.
Ike Rose: And his opponent, from Phoenix, Arizona, weighing in at 219 pounds, Rodrigo “Don Juan” DeSalto!
Keith Oswalt: And it’s time for the last of the qualifying matches tonight as we’ve already seen, five other phenomenal talents qualify for the tournament.
Eric Witz: From the little I’ve seen of Flap Flanagan, I’m going to have to say Rodrigo DeSalto will have next to no problem winning this match.
Keith Oswalt: Believe it or not, Flanagan, when serious, is a hell of an athlete and can wrestle with the best of them, however the closest he’s been to being serious is time earlier this year when he teamed up with Jack Benevolence in another tournament.
Eric Witz: I heard that tournament was… Nah, Jeremy can’t pay me to say that. It was a pretty cool tournament, a lot of notable names were in it, Jeremy Sterling included!
Keith Oswalt: As for DeSalto, I’ve not been able to come up with anything on him, other than his incredible ability to swoon women.
Eric Witz: Maybe you and Avice should take notes from him, he does seem rather dreamy.
As Eric Witz and Keith Oswalt continue to discuss the two men in the main event, Rodrigo DeSalto and Flap Flanagan look across the ring at each other before engaging in a collar and elbow tie up. Taking the advantage here, Flap Flanagan stomps on DeSalto’s toes before putting him into a headlock and tossing him over him, throwing him to the mat. Locking in the headlock and squeezing DeSalto’s head, Flanagan releases and lets go as he rolls back up to his feet, DeSalto raising to his as well, mildly annoyed with Flanagan.
Circling around each other, DeSalto goes to enter another lock up with Flanagan, however this time, Flanagan hit’s a low dropkick on DeSalto, taking his knee out in the process. Falling to a knee, Flanagan flies back up to his feet and here takes Rodrigo off of his feet with a short arm clothesline. After hitting this Flanagan goes for a quick cover over his opponent,

Kick out! Easily pushing Flanagan off of him, Flanagan doesn’t slow his assault down as he begins to stomp Rodrigo before lifting him up to his feet and pointing out a beautiful woman in the front row. Grabbing both of their attentions, the two walk together to the ropes nearest her and as Flap begins to wave at the woman, Rodrigo shakes his head before violently spinning his entire body around and nailing Flanagan with a decapitating lariat! Knocking Flap down onto his neck with the blow, Rodrigo chuckles to himself, amused that Flanagan’s own actions led to this. Throwing a few punches at Flanagan, Rodrigo grabs him by the back of the head and pulls him back to his feet now.
After doing this, Rodrigo throws Flap to the ropes and as Flap hit’s the ropes and bounces back Rodrigo jumps up and hit’s a big dropkick on him, knocking Flanagan off of his feet. After doing this, Rodrigo DeSalto goes for a cover on Flanagan,

2...
Kick out!
Eric Witz: I guess Flap’s not taking this match seriously? He got himself in a disadvantage by pointing out that hot woman.
Keith Oswalt: He’s a very unorthodox wrestler, perhaps it was all a part of his plan.
Eric Witz: If that’s his strategy, then I don’t want to know anything else about him.
After the kick out, Rodrigo DeSalto stays focused on Flanagan, lifting him back up and kneeing him in the stomach in the process. After doing this, DeSalto knees Flanagan before throwing him overhead with a snap suplex. Rolling his hips, Rodrigo gets back up to his feet pulling Flanagan with him before again tossing him over with a second snap suplex. Yet again, DeSalto rolls his hips and pulls Flanagan back up to his feet before tossing Flanagan overhead with a T-Bone Suplex, completing the Ménage a Trios (Rolling suplexes followed by a T-Bone Suplex). Following the T-Bone Suplex, DeSalto goes for another cover on Flanagan,

Kick out!
Furiously striking the mat with his palms, Rodrigo screams at the ref before grabbing Flanagan again and pulling him up to his feet. As Rodrigo does this he plans out his next attack and finally decides to throw Flanagan off to the ropes and as Flanagan hit’s the ropes, he holds onto them, stopping himself. Now charging at Flanagan, Rodrigo rushes towards him, but Flanagan ducks under Rodrigo’s clothesline and hit’s the ropes again and as Rodrigo turns around Flanagan levels him with a bicycle kick! Grinning from ear to ear now, Flanagan turns to the woman he was staring at earlier and gives her a thumbs up before turning back to Rodrigo DeSalto.
Keith Oswalt: Stay on him Flap! Don’t get yourself distracted again!
Eric Witz: You know, as strange of a wrestler as he is, he sure can take a beating.
Keith Oswalt: Well, when your name is Flanagan, you kind of have to.
Lifting DeSalto back to his feet, Flanagan kicks him in the gut before wrapping his arms around DeSalto’s waist and tosses DeSalto over his head with a gut wrench suplex! After hitting this move, Flanagan rolls back up onto his feet as does DeSalto. Running at DeSalto, Flanagan takes him down with a clothesline, drawing DeSalto back to his feet, only to run him over again with a clothesline! Grinning, Flanagan now stalks DeSalto as DeSalto pulls himself back up to his feet. Staying behind DeSalto, Flanagan grabs him by the back of the head before jumping up and hitting a reverse Russian legsweep, throwing DeSalto to the mat! After hitting this, Flanagan goes for a cover,

2...
Kick out!
Surprised that DeSalto kicked out, Flanagan lifts him back to his feet and here he tosses Rodrigo to the ropes and goes for a Critical Kick (Superkick) on Rodrigo, but DeSalto holds to the ropes tight, letting Flanagan kick only the air. Now charging at Flanagan, Rodrigo goes for a lariat, but Flanagan ducks under this and as Rodrigo hit’s the ropes and turns around Flanagan makes him eat a Critical Kick (Superkick)! Knocking him to the ground, Flap Flanagan grins as he grabs Rodrigo’s legs and locks him into The Critical Quick (Elevated, Twisting Texas Cloverleaf)! Sitting back and locking in the hold, Flap Flanagan leans back as far as possible trying to force a submission victory. Screaming out in agony, Rodrigo holds his hand above his head, contemplating submission. Trying unsuccessfully to throw Flap off with his leg strength, Rodrigo’s hand quivers as he brings it to the mat. Using his other arm now, Rodrigo gives one last ditch effort to reach out and his middle finger just barely skims the bottom rope, forcing the referee to make Flap Flanagan release the hold!
Keith Oswalt: Flap has it won!
Eric Witz: I can’t believe it, but it looks like DeSalto may be down and out!
Unable to believe that Rodrigo hadn’t tapped out, Flanagan looks at the referee as he stalks behind Rodrigo encouraging him to get up to his feet. Struggling up to his feet, Rodrigo uses the ropes to help him stand. After doing this, Rodrigo turns around and is instantly kicked in the stomach by Flanagan. Being lifted up, Rodrigo tries to fight Flanagan off as he is held above Flanagan’s head in a suplex position.
Finally throwing off knees, Rodrigo gets Flanagan weary and makes his grip loosen. After hitting several consecutive knees to the head, Rodrigo is able to slip down behind Flanagan and here he grabs Flanagan into a full nelson before throwing him over head with a dragon suplex. Rolling through it, Rodrigo mounts himself on top of Flap Flanagan and changes his hold into a double underhook and flips back over, locking Flap Flanagan into a Chastity Buster (Dragon Suplex into Cattle Mutilation)!
Trapped in the center of the ring with no ability to move, Flap Flanagan tries to pull his body back and get his foot on the rope, but is unable to do so due to the tightness of the hold. Locking in his grip tighter, Rodrigo DeSalto goes up onto his toes to increase the pressure of the hold. Finally unable to bear the pain any longer, Flap Flanagan is forced to tap out!
Ike Rose: Here is your winner, via submission, at 13 minutes and 39 seconds, Rodrigo DeSalto!
Keith Oswalt: Heartbreaking loss for Flap Flanagan as he was just mere inches away from victory.
Eric Witz: I should have known that goof had no chance at beating somebody as manly as Rodrigo DeSalto, that man is god’s gift to women.
Keith Oswalt: Hell of a show this week with Dru Tha Merc, Eddie Nash, Esix Cordero, Josh Eagles, Paul Sant, and Rodrigo DeSalto all advancing to the Pride Cup Championship Tournament semi-finals!
Eric Witz: Along with all six of them, we’ll also see the other six men, along with whatever four men are unable to make it to the finals in a ten man
