Wrestler's Wrestling Strategy: Williams treats every match like a game of chess. He always tries to stay three steps ahead of his opponent, mainly focusing his attacks on the neck and back. Usually he succeeds in outthinking and out-hustling his opponents, however he can occasionally be rattled by those who call out his work ethic or ability. When frustrated and rattled, he becomes sloppy, opening himself up for trouble.
Wrestler's Gimmick: Very intelligent, hard working guy from Detroit, Michigan that entered the wrestling business because of a promise made to his late father. Very likeable, tends to get along with most everyone. Not easily rattled, he can put up with most verbal and mental garbage anyone throws his way. However, when he does lose his composure, his temper and anger will get the best of him, causing quite a few problems for him. He strives for respect, and will treat everyone with respect to a point. His boiling point usually comes down to anyone disrespecting his father. He is constantly guided by a moral compass, and will always be the guy running down the ramp to try to stop a 5 on 1 assault.
Entrance Description:
“WHEN I SAY GO – RUNAWAY!”
As “Runaway” by Hail the Villain blasts from the sound system, Chris Williams jogs out onto the KoP set to great fanfare. Williams lifts his cross pendant to his lips, then raises an arm to the sky and looks up, a tribute to his late father. He walks down toward the ring with a purpose, high-fiving fans on one side of the rail. He walks up the steps and pauses, then looks into the crowd and thrusts his arm into the air, getting a nice reaction. Williams steps into the ring and takes off his necklace, handing it to the referee, and then waits.

Wrestling Strengths: His offense is basically a very well crafted and calculated defense. He is excellent at countering many moves, and uses that to his advantage to score some shots of his own with little effort. Williams uses this strategy in almost EVERY match to wear down his opponent. Letting his opponent work themselves into frustration and exhaustion, he then unleashes his moveset to finish the match. If Williams is on the losing end of the match, his heart and will to “NEVER. BACK. DOWN” is his greatest strength. He despises giving up, and has had his arm fractured in lieu of tapping out. When pinned, even if there is no hope to win the match, Williams will give every single ounce inside of him to kick out that one extra time, even if only to frustrate his opponent into hitting Williams with one, final, devastating finisher.
Wrestling Weaknesses: When Williams is flustered for whatever reason, his counters become sloppy and he opens himself up to huge impact signature and finisher moves. His moves are also easily countered in this state. This is the one way you can make a match against Williams completely one-sided.
Wrestling Achievements: PWA World Heavyweight Champion –> January 31 – September 6 (Longest reigning - 218 days, Most Defenses – 8)
GWF United States Champion
Notable Feuds: Michael Smart – A constant on/off feud, has spanned three different wrestling federations (GWF, ACW, PWA), usually going from great friends to fierce rivals and back. Michael was the man that broke Williams’ arm. Not so much enemies as two great competitors who constantly feel the need to prove themselves better than the other.
Andrew Franklin – A blood feud. Williams wants nothing more than to destroy Franklin, and vice versa. Of anyone Williams has wrestled, Franklin is the one that most easily gets into Williams head and rattles him. In a match against Franklin, Williams will forget about everything but destroying Franklin. He foregoes countering in lieu of total offense, not stopping until one of them is unconscious.
