The scene opens and we see Stephen Callaway staring at something on a computer screen. He has headphones in so we can't hear. He clicks a button and then slaps the monitor.
Stephen
"Damnation! That it? Two friggin' matches?"
He turns to the camera and raises an eyebrow.
Stephen
"Two matches is not a lot to go on. It tells me you're either inexperienced or a new signing. Maybe both. A staring contest with your bio told me you're a ten year vet. You Tube coughed up so much. Same for Google. Facebook poked me so I'm not going there again.
You're not bad. Couple of holes in your repertoire gives me something to go on even if I'm not telling you what, but I like you. You looked good against Pitbullshit same in some of the idie vids."
He clicks his mouse.
Stephen
"For most of this week people have been asking me about Josh Eagles, about how I lost and about how I plan on beating him when I lost to him last Sunday.
I wrestled Josh in a match that I was expected by all to lose. I myself never expected to win. I just wanted a few minutes in the ring to find some flaws in him. To quoth The Joker: 'If you're good at something never do it for free'. I could have beaten Josh on Sunday. I could have taken his flaws and turned them on him. I could have exploited him and defeated him easy. What would it have won me?
I sat here and spoke of that last week, but then I figured, what was the point of beating him and exposing his flaws? What would I have gained? All that would have happened was Eddie Nash would have been watching and found the same flaws. The same for Pitbullshit and Johnboy Noble. I would only be moved to the back of the que while Eddie took advantage of the flaws I showed him and won my belt! My intention is to beat Josh on the big show, the super-card show. I can't do that this month since Ed got there first so I need to do it next month. I can't just walk into the show as the top contender, nor can I be named a contender because the bookers feel sorry for me like they did last time. I need to break this new Pride Three rating system. I can't do that if I don't win matches and ......
That brings me right back to Eric. An I and E away from my favourite girls name. Ricky, I've watched your matches over and over and over. I know all your flaws all your weaknesses and thus, have been training in order to expose them to the wrestling world this Sunday. As good as I saw that you are, you are flawed."
He clicks the mouse again.
Stephen
"There it is right there (he points at the screen that we can't see) They say I'm the one with the angles, that right there is how you lost to Pitbullshit and how you lost to The Ogre. It's also how you're going to lose to me."
He leans forward and looks right into the camera.
Stephen
"See you Sunday, Eric. Bye."
He clicks the camera off and we go to black.
