[/center]On the August 8th edition of Oblivion, Chris Hart was attacked by Christian Kane and Adam Abel. Following their actions we were able to confirm that Chris Hart has been advised by medical staff to stay off of the card this week and as a result of this advisement, Jeremy Sterling and Kurt Noble have left Chris Hart off of this week’s card. Despite not being booked though, Chris Hart has been rumored to have said that he will be at Oblivion this week “regardless of whether they want me there.”
Following a loss to Chris Hart and Chris Strike at Oblivion, John Parker and Steven Carter both are in desperate need of a win this week as John Parker faces the debuting Stephen Lawson. Sources close to Jeremy Sterling have said that, “he expects only the as his competitors.” Following a loss and falling to a record of three wins and one loss, John Parker, with a win, can definitely assert that he has the record to stick around, but for Steven Carter at one win and three losses, he has an absolute need to not only impress in his matches, but to win his matches as well.
Speaking of records and impressing, Stephen Callaway had an amazing win over Ace Diamonds as he had completely dominated him. It has been reported that following the match, Ace Diamonds quickly spoke with Kurt Noble and quit the company, no longer wishing to embarrass himself anymore. After a dominate victory, Stephen Callaway called out Pride Wrestling newcomer Kid Flanagan, stating that he was nothing but a disgrace to professional wrestling. As announced on Oblivion, in the opening match on August 15th, Stephen Callaway will have his chance to prove himself right when he takes on Kid Flanagan.
After being put through a table by Christian Kane at Return of the Kingdom, nobody has so much as heard from Dustin Douglas. However, that ends as sources have confirmed that Dustin Douglas will be at Oblivion this week. What his appearance will consist of however, is unknown at this point.
Following his attack on Josh Eagles on Oblivion, the main event for the August 15th edition of Oblivion has been announced to be Adam Abel taking on not only Josh Eagles but also Chris Strike in a triple threat match!
Production has been reported to be in the later stages for the Return of the Kingdom DVD. Jeremy Sterling and Kurt Noble both seem hopeful that the DVD will be released late next week. Special features in the DVD include interviews from five of the competitors that Sterling and Noble believed made the biggest splash at the show along with interviews from Jeremy Sterling and Kurt Noble. A preview of Jeremy Sterling’s interview will be available in next week’s Pride Newsletter.
Kingdom of Pride would like to welcome P.K. Jacob-Sterling, Stephen Lawson, Taylor Jones, and Kid Flanagan to the Pride Wrestling roster.
