[/center]Death’s Desire has come and gone, and while official numbers have not been released, early reports are estimating that the event was Pride’s highest draw since 2007. Pride management has thanked each and every person that tuned in, or bought a ticket to the show.
*Breaking News* The Kingdom of Pride recently had a hostile environment and negligence claim filed against it by “The Legend,” a man known extensively for his work in film and other media forms. At Death’s Desire, The Legend was shoved by Pride roster member Obscene, which lead to the bodyguard of The Legend shoving Obscene. The Kingdom has not released an official statement regarding the matter, but rumors backstage are that The Legend will be backstage at the November 7th edition of Oblivion to help reconcile any damages over the incident. Obscene had yet to make a statement as well.
The Kingdom of Pride has issued a statement regarding the former Scramble Championships. “While Robbie Venom and Shawn Stevens were seen sporting the former title belts at Death’s Desire, the Scramble Championships are currently not active titles in the promotion, and have no plans to gain official status in the near future. They are simply for recreational use at this point in time…”
…Which lead Robbie Venom to make the following statement. “Yeah, we’ll see about that. Shawn and I get our way when we want it. Just ask Jeremy Sterling why don’tcha?”
Chris Hart’s contract was officially terminated on the November 1st. The Kingdom of Pride would like to wish him the best in his future endeavors.
Despite the declining status of wrestling due to the stagnant economy, Pride is resulting a positive profit, and is currently attempting to reach out to newer talent come 2011. Kurt Noble himself has stated that he will be involved with more diplomatic work in 2011, but has not commented on how this will affect his position with the company.
Don’t forget to turn in to this week’s edition of Oblivion, as Johnny Noble takes on Kid Flanagan in the Main Event, newly returning Christian Kane takes on Shawn Stevens. There will also be many other matches on the card, so be sure to tune into this post-Death’s Desire Oblivion!
