Over the past week, the Kingdom of Pride has made several contract signings for “developmental tag teams,” signing a total of 14 men. Pride management released the following statement regarding the teams: “We’ve signed seven teams to low budget, developmental contracts in an attempt to help boost the tag team division. It’s not concrete than any of these teams will actually compete, or be on Oblivion, but they will certainly be used in a way to help promote the Kingdom of Pride’s expanding tag team division.”
Rumors backstage have been rampant about the man that attacked both John Parker and Alex Avice. When questioned about the man’s identity, Pride management did not release a statement. John Parker is said to be bruised up, but doing alright. Alex Avice suffered minor lacerations and bruised ribs. His role on the upcoming edition of Oblivion is expected to be minimal, if any at all.
When asked about the feud between Kurt Noble and Jeremy Sterling, Kingdom of Pride Valiant Champion Josh Eagles released the following statement: “I think these two can willingly get along under the right circumstances. They both have unique visions for what Pride should be, they just need to learn to compromise a bit. Everyone has to accept that they may not get 100% of what they want.” Josh Eagles will be featured in the Main Event of this week’s Oblivion.
Recent rumors have been spread backstage that Kurt Noble will be meeting with several prominent members of the wrestling world over the Winter break. Whether he intends to sign new contracts or merely set up one-time appearances is currently unknown.
The Legend’s comments on the most recent Oblivion have caused tensions to be at an all time high backstage. When asked about the possible cutbacks due to Legend’s costly lawsuit, Pride Management declined to comment.
