She had found the road to be overly lonely. Thankful now that her older brother had decided to make his way to her. He had always been willing to drop everything to be there for her. It was a quality within him that she could always rely on. He was not only her brother, but the best friend she had ever had. Through all the pain, heartache and tragedy that plagued them, they were inseperable.
He was here now. In a hotel room down the hall. She sits on her stiff hotel bed, wrapped in nothing but a towel, her hair still wet from the shower. Her eyes scan the room around her, searching the walls for... Something. Anything. Even with Viktor here, she felt like she was missing something. A piece of her that she had long forgotten about that now, eats away at her inner most thoughts. In the time Viktor had been in Tennessee, she hadn't asked him about Eli. Where he was, why he left, if he was planning on returning to her. She was still unsure if she wanted to know all the truths surrounding the mystery that was Eli. The man she loved, the man she lost.
She gets up slowly, tightening the towel around the top of her chest. She walks barefoot around the hotel room, pacing. The wheels turning a mile a minute in her head. Now, it wasn't Eli or Viktor she was thinking on. She had finally allowed herself a moment to reflect on her match. So far, her time in the Kingdom of Pride had been, less than favorable. The competition barely able to be labeled as such. The match she was looking forward to this week, she was hoping wasn't going to be a threepeat. She joined the Kingdom of Pride with the hopes of competition. Getting her hands dirty. Wrestling with the boys, killing their egos as she took them down, piece by piece. So far, it was disappointing. When she saw her match for the week, a little bit of hope within her was restored.
Aurelia: The last two weeks for me have been quite the transitional period, needless to say. Adjusting to life in Kingdom of Pride has definitely been, an interesting journey, to say the least. Mainly... Due to a certain individual. Again, back to Mr. John Parker.
John.. You are a pathetic excuse for a man. Are you completely unable to comprehend the meaning of the word no? It truly comes off this way. Which, I guess, is why I am going to destroy you at The Knighting. And you will finally be able to get your hands on me, before I render you completely useless.
She walks to the table where her suitcase lay, and removes a few things. She slides a pair of red boyshorts on under her towel, before letting it drop to the floor. She stands facing the wall, only her bare back exposed.
Aurelia: As much as I wish that I was going to be able to give you the beating you deserve, John... You are not on my radar. Not yet.
She slips a black wife beater on and turns around, walking towards the window. She pulls back the drapes, allowing the rays of sunshine to illuminate the room around her. She smiles, feeling the cold of the outisde after placing her hand on the window.
Aurelia: Callaway... You seem like a decent enough man. Having a bit of an inner conflict about facing me, which I can respect. Not all men can handle facing a woman. Whether it be morals, or the fear of the age old issue of being beaten by a girl. Two of your colleagues have fallen to this girl here, and I plan on making you a third. No doubt about that.
Truth be told, I might actually feel a tad bit bad about it. Only due to your reservations against facing me, and violence against women and all of that. I am not a normal woman, by all means. I guess what I am trying to tell you, Stephen, is don't allow your morals to stand in your way of actually giving me my first true challenge here. I welcome it, and I do hope that you can deliver.
But let this be known, good sir. I won't fall easily, it takes a mountain to move me. You may excel where others have failed against me in the ring, but I will not be taken out. You will be my first Kingdom of Pride big dog. This is my chance to prove that it isn't just the lower totem I can plow through without breaking a sweat. You shall serve as my first stepping stone into the elitist party of this company. I am sure you are one hell of a wrestler, or else you wouldn't have come as far as you possibly have. So I don't doubt that you are able to beat me. But having the ability to do something, and actually completing something are two different animals. Talent or not, you will not win. I will see to it that you are just another body left in the the middle of the ring, caught in my path of destruction.
There is a heavy knock at her door. Glancing at the clock, she realizes that she was supposed to be ready a half an hour ago. Being easily distracted was a huge ailment of hers. Quickly, she slips on a pair of jeans, removing her wife beater, and slipping into a bra. She grabs a shirt from her bag, then opens the door, Viktor stepping inside.
Viktor: Not ready yet? Jesus, Aurelia. What the hell have you been doing all morning?
Aurelia: You know how I get, Vik. The tiniest of things keep me distracted for hours.
Viktor stares at his sister, and cannot help but laugh.
Aurelia: Don't be a pig, Viktor.
Viktor: You set yourself up for that, sis. Opened the door for me to waltz right through.
Aurelia: I hate you.
Viktor: Because you know I am right.
Aurelia stares at her brother for a moment, shaking her head. She finishes readying herself. Lacing her boots and securing her jacket. She grabs the last of her things, and the two head out of her pseudo home. The door closes behind them, locking in place, scene fading out.
