In breaking news, Josh Eagles interrupted the ending of the Universal League’s Fifth Year Celebration show. When attempting to reach Eagles or Pride management, neither commented on the incident. Jay Jefferson was said to livid after the event, demanding to know why Josh Eagles, a former UWL competitor, was even at the show. Rumors are circulating that the incident will be explained on the upcoming Oblivion.
This past week of Oblivion saw several injuries throughout the roster. Justin Kaard made his return to Oblivion, only to be attacked by the man named Silence. Kaard is said to have gained several lacerations, requiring numerous stitches, as well as gaining a concussion. His return is questions. Rookie Marco Ramirez also suffered an injured back at the hands of The Legend, and has been put on an indefinite leave. Rumors are spiraling backstage that other members have acquired minor injuries, but Pride is refusing to list any names of anymore possibly injured wrestlers.
Speaking of injuries, for two weeks now the man known only as Silence has run rampant in KoP, attacking JDP, Alex Avice, and seriously injuring Justin Kaard. Who will be the silent ones next victim and can anyone stop him?
When asked about the possibility of doing movies while under a Pride contract, The Legend responded with the following statement: “Of course, fool. I’m too big of a star not to have my name plastered all over the movies that empty your wallets and make your children scream and cry. I made a clause specifically in my contract that states I can still do movies while wrestling. Oh, and I get paid more for it. Seems like a win win for me.”
Christian Kane has been spotted rigorously training for his match against The Krieg at this week Oblivion. His training as included more cardio exercises, a more frequent schedule at the gym, and allegedly, more sex with Dani Clarke.
