OOC: Sorry this one's on the short side, I just thought it'd be better to throw up something that's a bit short than nothing at all
Scene 1
The Church of St. David
London, England
The scene opens on the image of the empty church, Morgan Jones stands in front of the huge wooden carved altar. As the camera moves closer towards him, he appears to have an expression not of anger or hatred, as he usually seems to, but of ponderous thought and realisation. Once the camera gets closer to him, he begins to speak.
MJ: This Sabbath day at the event known as Winter Warfare, I shall face off against Esix Cordero, another sinner? Yes, but I’d be hard put to find someone who isn’t a hateful abuser of God’s greatest creation. What I find so strange is how similar him and I seem to be, not that Esix is some sort of religious warrior, far from it. It’s more why we fight, neither of us are in this business of wrestling to win titles, nor to prove how good we are as physical competitors, in fact you could both say we hate wrestling, especially you. I’ve delved into your preferred sport, that of mixed martial arts, and yes it is indeed a brutal sport, barbaric even. You take pride in this, you are like me, you have an agenda, you are using wrestling to spread your own message. With me, I spread the word of God and by doing so I hope one day to purge the world of sin, you spread hate and violence through your dedication to the discipline of MMA. So I guess you could say we are similar, but there is one fundamental difference. I am fight in order to bring about change in this world, great change that will benefit all mankind, yes some people will get hurt, necessary sacrifices will and have been made in the past, but once the world is free from sin all shall be peaceful, I will have created an ultimate utopia, like the Garden of Eden before it. You, you just fight for you own selfish gain, a want to cause pain and suffering to everyone, that is your agenda, one of selfish sadism and self-centred satisfaction. Many people have called me crazy, mad, even evil, but my true goal is one of malevolence, whilst yours is nothing but an endless succession of increasingly futile beatings, fighting may satisfy you for now, but eventually, you shall see the vacuous nature of your pursuit of a next victim, nothing but an endless procession of meaningless lumps of flesh and bone for you to pound into submission. For me, every adversary is one how could eventually enjoy the experience of the utopia I dream of, that shall one day be a reality. I shall continue to fight for my dream, this Sunday shall be another step forward, you Esix shall merely be another cobble upon which I have tread on my long and arduous journey. May The Lord grant me the strength and power with which to vanquish this adversary and may he grant you a swift recovery and the gift of enlightenment, if he does not, then may he carry you soul swiftly to rest.
Morgan places his hands together in prayer as the camera begins to move away, his final word rings out in the empty building.
MJ: Amen
The camera continues to move away from Morgan and slowly fades.
