General Rules
1. The Kingdom of Pride is an original character-based e-federation. What this means is that we only accept characters created by their handlers, and not wrestlers that may actually wrestle in the WWE, TNA, ROH, or any other actual wrestling federation. If we feel you are 100% copying a wrestler from any actual promotion, we will inform you, and ask that you change characters.
2. No-showing is frowned upon here in Pride. Failing to show for an event, without notifying all staff members with a legitimate reason, will earn you a warning. Failure to show a second time within the course of a Super-show rotation will automatically remove you from the roster. So essentially, no-showing twice in between super shows will eliminate you from the roster.Tech problems, personal emergencies, injuries, etc. that require you to miss a deadline are not regarded as no-shows.
3. If you for some reason cannot meet a deadline, you must PM staff members as to why. Publicly announcing a no-show on the forums is highly frowned upon, and will not be regarded as notification of a no-show unless a follow up PM is sent to the staff.
4. Please refrain yourself from pointless flaming and fighting. There is no need for futile arguments here, disciplinary action will be taken as felt necessary for violations of this rule. If you have an issue with another member, take it up with them off the boards. If your problem is with an administator or a show result, please PM an administator to sort it out.
5. Drunken posting of any kind will not be tolerated. If we deem that a person is making comments while intoxicated, the comment will be deleted and the said drunken person will be notified, and have their account locked for one day. There will be no exceptions.
6. Advertising for another federation is strictly prohibited. If you would like to advertise for your own personal federation, discuss the matter with an administator and perhaps we can come to some form of a compromise. We will not, however, tolerate mass messaging the roster.
7. Profanity is allowed on the boards, but try to not be excessively profane. Racist/Prejudice/etc. images, videos, words, and other forms of communication will not be tolerated on the forums, and will lead to disciplinary actions.
8. Imitation of another user is not permitted in Pride, especially if deemed inappropriate by Pride staff, and will be dealt with accordingly.
Roleplaying Rules
1. For Oblivion, the maximum number of RPs that can be posted for the show is one. For Supershows, the maximum number of RPs that can be posted is two, unless an agreement is made beforehand to increase that amount.
2. Roleplays may occur at any place in the world. We will not censor anything in your roleplaying and you may have whatever you would like to happen in your roleplays, but be aware that if it is considered too unrealistic, it could potentially damage the quality when it comes to judging the RP.
3. Clearly offensive material, such as images, videos, phrases, words, or any other material deemed profane is to be kept out of RPs. However, this does not include character nature that may labeled as offensive. For example, if a character has a “gangster” type attitude, and uses profane insults, that is acceptable.
4. All roleplays most be posted on the forum and not be a link to another website. Any roleplay that is a link to another site will not be read and will be completely disregarded.
5. Please do not plagiarize another person’s work. Doing so will lead to an instant ban, and nasty things said about you off and on the forums. Also, using former RPs in a match against an opponent is unnacceptable, and will result in a ban.
6. All matches will be decided off of who is considered to have the better quality of role plays. While there will be storylines in the federation, we believe that any good storyline can work despite the outcome of a match, therefore storylines will have no influence on the outcome of a match, unless the match is angled beforehand.
7. Do not use another person’s character in your roleplay unless you have previously contacted said person and have received their permission. Any infractions to this rule will be harshly reprimanded.
8. Deadlines for every show will be 11:59PM Eastern Time on Saturday. If you miss the deadline by even a minute, your roleplay will not count.
9. Shows will be posted at any time the following Sundays, and the card for the next week will be posted as soon as possible. The 24-hour interval in between the roleplaying deadline and the result deadline is to give enough time for match decisions to be made and for matches to be written.
10. Pride operates under a rule called the "Overtime Rule." If a match has a complete amount of no-shows (meaning, everyone fails to post an RP on time), then an additional 18 hours (6 PM EST on Sunday) is provided for the members of that match to post an RP. The first person to do so will win their match. However, The Kingdom of Pride frowns upon multiples uses of this rule, as members are expected to be able to meet the deadline requirement, barring emergencies.
11. Extensions will not be given to anybody. There will be no exceptions.
Show Rules
1. Any changes in the scheduled matches or angles for a show will be automatically sent to the writers that it may affect.
2. For the angling of a match result, a decision to angle a match must be agreed upon by all the RPers involved in the match. All administrators must be informed of the angle in a reasonable amount of time before the show occurs.
3. Pride highly encourages writers sending in segments for the show. If your segment involves a character you don't handle, we must be informed of their consent. Any segment sent in may be edited to better fit into the show.
4. Pride reserves the right to use all characters in show results with, or without, notification. Notification will generally be given, unless the segment using the character is used for a "shock factor" and it is believed that by informing ahead of time will lose the appeal of the storyline. The integrity of the character will be left intact as we will not do anything to humiliate a character without prior notice.
*If you have any questions, please PM an administrator, and we'll answer any questions you have.*
