Kingdom of Pride Newsletter
This Sunday, Kingdom of Pride will officially reopen its doors after a hiatus of over a year. Tickets for the show have been selling quickly as Pride fans have been clamoring for this moment for months.
On Pride’s return show, Oblivion, the card has been stacked with six matches, five of them being a beat the clock challenge match, which will allow the winners of the match to determine their own fate in the main event match of Kingdom of Pride’s first Super Show on August 1st, Return of the Kingdom. More details on the main event itself will be provided from Pride Owners, Kurt Noble and Jeremy Sterling at Oblivion.
Reports are that Chris Hart will be given time to address the Cookeville Audience on Sunday. It is unknown what is going to be addressed at this time.
Also on the topic of Chris Hart, rumors coming out of the locker room though, are that Chris has been playing an active role in regards to recruiting talent, as well as putting in extra hours to make sure Kingdom of Pride's first show will be going off without a hitch. Our source has said that the continued maturation of Chris Hart is "surprising, but with Kurt Noble being a financier of Kingdom of Pride, not too surprising.”
Kingdom of Pride officials have offered independent contractor Steven Watson Carter from Manchester - originally from Brooklyn, New York - a limited contract. His contract states that if he fails to impress both management and the Kingdom of Pride audience by August 20th, 2010 then his employment with the company will be terminated. To increase the chances of his employment with the company continuing past that date, he will be given a tag team partner that will be revealed in the coming weeks. Stayed tuned.
Word from Kingdom of Pride officials are that negotiations with several stars are still being worked out, stay tuned to see what stars may possibly pop up in the future!
Be sure to come out to Oblivion this Sunday as the return of Kingdom of Pride begins to unfold!
