After a certain dishonest member of our roster thought that it was okay to simply re-use an RP and change names around. Obviously, he's no longer a member of our roster, and I'll be posting his name on e-fed databases to warn others.
I have NEVER been in an e-fed that allows someone to use older work in a match. Ever. It's dishonest, idiotic, and just plain rude to your opponent. So, I need to make something crystal clear for our roster, and anyone reading. I'm not trying to sound mean to anyone, and this isn't meant at any one person at all:
If you re-use ANY past work, or even a portion of it for a match, you will be banned. All work used in Pride must be original, having not been written before by you in any way, shape, or form. Once again, failure to do so will result in an instant ban. I don't care who you are or what your relationship is with Jeremy or I. You will be banned. Period.
That's all.

Just asking to cover the bases, and someone else will asking. Does this no flashblacks to a previous moment in a RP?
Like if something I had previously wrote came up again in a nightmare-like situation, would that get me banned?

I don't mind if someone posts a flashback to a previous part of an RP in like a tape, nightmare, etc. type scenario, as long as that's not the entire RP and it's actually relevant to the story you're building that week (meaning it's not just randomly thrown in for length or something like that).
It would also be better in a situation like that to at least notify us so we can discuss it. But for the most part, I don't think I'd have a problem with that.

And for anyone who thinks they're sneaky enough ... I'm here. This makes me want to deliberately use one of my old RPs...because I don't think you could catch it...at all. And fuck it, this is E-FEDDING, not a university...if someone wrote something, it's their's to fucking use whenever they want. Should it count against them, sure? But an auto-banning? Ha. Way to take a game way too fucking seriously. Paul Yorking something it one thing, but reusing RPs is just lazy...not cheating. But hey, bash a guy for using his roleplay as character development...that won't relegate us to a clique fed at all. Have a beer, mate. No use in playing if you're not having fun. [note to Kyle and Jeremy: Come on, I've got enough built up goodwill for ONE post disagreeing with something, right? ]

I agree with Krieg dude - maybe an insta-ban is a little too harsh? Perhaps a two strike rule? If Kyle, Jeremy, or James happen to find the original copy of a roleplay posted here on another forum, then the offender could receive a warning and maybe a suspension. After that, should said offender choose to be stupid and do it again, he is banned.
Just a thought.

[note to Kyle and Jeremy: Come on, I've got enough built up goodwill for ONE post disagreeing with something, right? ] I'll vehemently disagree Travis and I would think you of all people would understand. If you absolutely don't want to RP, feel forced to in a way like you have before but still pull out something ... only for me to just copy/paste a former RP, that's wrong. You spent time on that piece and it's fair to expect someone to do the same. Not only that but it's incredibly dishonest, you might have to feud with that person and they are solely concerned about themselves. It's why you never wanted to seg with Paul York because he refused to put you over ever. It's just bad business. If you can't show because something happened. Make a post, that I understand. I'd rather see a no-show than something copy pasted.

I vehemently stand by my comments. I just don't care...at all. Odds are, reusing roleplays means they're not good. Fuck them, I'll beat them my way. Paul York (and the dude he copied from) were mediocre and boring. I could've beaten him easily. They're all punkass motherfucks who can't even write for a goddamn retarded game. Let them cheat, they'll still lose.

Say what you will about my RPs but they are all 100% Original. And all brand new.
I know we all come here for fun and laughs, but there are always a small minority who ruin things for others. It's happened since I was at school, you have a class of 20 kids who are all good, well behaved children. But you only need one to ruin a good class.
Back on topic and not school, Paul York was pulled up for breaking the rules. WWE has a Wellness program to keep drugs and steroids down. Any breach of the rules = suspension. Jeremy Stirling and Kurt Noble can not come to everyone here and drug test them, our wellness policy is our RPs. Keep them original and we pass the test, copy someone else's or paste an old one of your own and you fail the RP Wellness Program and DESERVE the appropriate punishment.
