Reader’s Guide to the Krieg
Past Characters
Past Characters
Commander Josef Erskine: Former commander of the Krieg during a period of failure. Died (natural causes) before the Krieg gained any semblance of power, fearing that the organization he once lead would go down as one of the World’s greatest failures.
Current Status: Deceased, Natural causes
Commander Lukas Reinhardt: Former understudy of Erskine, won the leadership position over Wolfgang Kohler due to being more levelheaded and logical. Lead the Krieg as it gained power as an organization. His pet project was Der Krieg Maschinen, a team of giants that a prophecy called for. His daughter, Kaja Reinhardt, is the current handler of the Maschinen and a Krieg operative herself.
Current Status: Deceased, Assassination
Wolfgang Kohler: Reinhardt’s second in command. Tends to gravitate towards the ideas of Germans being superior. Less levelheaded than Reinhardt and attempts to volley for power, despite Reinhardt’s stellar reputation with his men.
Current Status: Commander of the Krieg, took over after Reinhardt died
Fritz Shouse: Lead field operative, lead the successful capture of Balraj. Loyal to the organization.
Current Status: Unknown
Mats Klose: Former Krieg operative, seen as the future of the organization. Erskine’s proudest trainee. Failed to take intel from a Polish base and was killed in the process. His death was a low point for the organization.
Current Status: Deceased, KIA
Til Hahn: Krieg field operative. Leader the successful capture of the child Somba, despite his subordinate causing distractions. Currently one of the Krieg’s most respected men.
Current Status: Top 5 on the chain of command
Oliver “Oli” Ballack: New recruit in 1983. Doubted the methods used to capture Balraj. Unsure of his loyalty after witnessing the horrors of military operations firsthand.
Current Status: Deceased, [Spoilers]
Christoph Lindemann: Personal favorite of Kohler. Field operative with a poor attitude. Tends to solve issues with violence and malice, which caused troubles during the extraction of Somba.
Current Status: Thought to be deceased, “KIA”
Present Day Characters
Commander Wolfgang Kohler: Gained leadership after Lukas Reinhardt’s death. Tends to be harsh towards Lukas’s daughter due to the history with her father and the fact that she’s a female. Doesn’t see the Maschinen as viable options to deploy, thus forced Kaja to handle the giants during their field testing.
Current Status: Commander of the Krieg
Til Hahn: Former Krieg field operative. Leader the successful capture of the child Somba, despite his subordinate causing distractions. Currently one of the Krieg’s most respected men. Tends to give Kaja the benefit of the doubt due to her lineage.
Current Status: Top 5 on the chain of command
Klaus Krupp: Rookie in 2010. Untrained. Tends to fuck up.
Current Status: Resident Krieg fuck up.
Der Krieg Maschinen: The two giants of the prophecy, Balraj and Somba. Currently getting a unique field testing exercise in Kingdom of Pride.
Current Status: Terrorizing KoP
Kaja Reinhardt: Daughter of Lukas Reinhardt, handler of the Maschinen. Kaja was trained in linguistics, weaponry, and gymnastics. She watches over the giants as if they were her own family because her father’s legacy rides on their success.
Current Status: The woman of CK’s dreams
Jason Summers: Resident of The Monopoly, a hotel housing the Maschinen and Johnny Noble. Typical 25 year old hippie in a band. Hates the man. Doesn’t hate Kaja. Helps her adapt to American life.
Current Status: Practicing 30 Seconds to Mars cover songs
Johnny Noble: Not really a side character, but John will smile because I included him. Johnny lives at the Monopoly, as well as wrestles in KoP, so it’s not uncommon for him to cross paths with Kaja and the Maschinen.
Current Status: Waging war with his brother over dindin[/font]
