Singles Application
Biological Name: Chris Damasceno
Wrestling Name: Chris Strike
Wrestler's Height: Five-foot-eleven (5’11”)
Wrestler's Weight: Two-hundred and five pounds (205 lbs)
Wrestler's Hometown: São Paulo, Brazil (though he resides in Denver, Colorado)
Wrestler's Race: Latin
Wrestler's Favorite Match: Ladder match – due to both considerable success in those bouts and for sentimental value, his first title in North America was won in a ladder match
Wrestler's Favorite Weapon: Kendo stick
Wrestler's Age and Date of Birth: Twenty-eight (28); November 26, 1981 (11/26/1981)
Wrestler's Year of Debut: Early 2001
Wrestler's Alignment: Face
Wrestler’s Pic Base: Rodrigo Santoro
Wrestler's Entrance Music: “Twilight of the Thunder God” by Amon Amarth
Wrestling Style: All-Around (jack-of-all-trades, but master of none)
Wrestler's Wrestling Strategy: Varies from opponent to opponent, though one thing will never change – he always goes for a body part (legs for the speedy and power types, arms for technicians, always works the back in some way or another)
Wrestler's Gimmick: “God of Thunder.” - As a man who proclaims to be a God (or at least, with the abilities of a deity), you can certainly expect Chris Strike to be very, very confident. He is not afraid to tell people that he is the best wrestler in the world in multiple ways while playing mind games with his foes and not afraid to prove his moniker in the ring either. No matter what circumstances, Chris always holds himself to a strict code in which he will never take any shortcuts to win a match. He prides himself on basically following that code, as he believes in his ability to pin to any foe thrown at him without having to resort to low blows or cheap tricks. While his pride is that of a God, his heart is that of a warrior. He prefers to fight alone and does not trust easily, although he is willing to team with anyone as long as it serves his own personal interests and said partners don’t get in between him and his goals.
Outside of that ring, once someone gets past his attitude, Chris is a rather knowledgeable guy, with a decent sense of humor, whose love for pro wrestling is legit – striving to get better every day, proving that he is worthy of his self-proclaimed titles. While it may take a while for Chris to trust people, those that earn his trust and respect will likely be the few that can count on the God of Thunder having their back at any point and time. Given his Brazilian roots, you cannot forget that Chris Strike does have a temper. Piss him off enough and his rage will take over, the results never being one that people want to go up against in a squared circle.

Signature Moves: (Minimum of 5 moves)
Fūjin-Raijin Buster (Back Suplex into Wheelbarrow Facebuster):
As the opponent is standing, either groggy or unaware, Strike positions himself behind them. Placing the opponent’s left arm around the back of his neck and his own arms around their waist, Strike lifts his foe up in the air as though going for a back suplex. However, as the opponent reaches the highest point in the air, Chris keeps him there for a brief moment. His left hand’s grip switches to his opponent’s left leg and with all of his strength, Strike takes a step forward and brings his own body downwards, smashing his opponent against the canvas face and chest first into the mat, all at a high speed. Chris usually connects with this in order to set-up the Relâmpago.
Mjöllnir (Spinning Fisherman’s Buster DDT)
Strike puts his opponent's head onto under his right arm, grabs a hold of his foe’s right leg with his left arm and then lifts the opponent in the air. Chris spins them around for about two seconds, before dropping onto the mat, driving the opponent down on the mat head first. He ends up bridging the opponent for a pin in most cases. It serves as a set-up for the Vajra.
Shangosault (3rd Rope Springboard Moonsault)
After dragging his opponent to the middle of the mat, Chris leans back against the nearby ropes for a moment before taking off from them. In his run, he jumps over his opponent’s body and with his momentum, he jumps and lands on the third rope successfully for a second before springboarding off of it. Strike then connects with an astounding moonsault onto the opponent below (if missed, 25% chance of Strike landing on his feet, although stumbling back a step or two due to the impact of his landing on the back – still leaving him defenseless for a brief moment).
[Note: The video is Jericho’s Lionsault – same idea, only Strike goes for the third rope instead of second]
Lei Gong Clutch (Cobra Clutch Backbreaker)
Strike turns his dazed foe sideways, putting his opponent in a cobra clutch hold. While maintaining the hold on, Strike lifts the opponent off of his feet and falls to one knee. He slams the opponent’s spine against the exposed knee and after the impact, brings them down to the mat, still holding them in the cobra clutch – from here, he can either attempt to submit them with the cobra clutch hold or let go and attempt to pin them.
Indra Slam (Capture Suplex STO)
Strike puts his right arm behind the right leg of the opponent, and pulls up the opponent’s right leg to their own chest. Chris then brings his right foot behind the opponent’s left leg, and swipes it from underneath them with such momentum that it causes the opponent to land on their neck, while Strike does a front roll out of the move, usually bridging it onto a Northern Lights Suplex pin.
Finishing Moves:
Primary Finisher: Relâmpago (Full Nelson Lungblower)
Description: As the opponent is down on the mat, Strike will kneel down and stalk his foe, slamming his arms against the mat repeatedly - almost as if a beating a drum – until the opponents stands. As they do, Strike rises to his feet and quickly locks them in a Full Nelson. He twists on the hold once or twice to keep his opponent at bay before leaping into the air, tucking his knees in the process. As gravity takes over, he tightens the grip of the Full Nelson and forces the opponent to fall downward, the foe’s upper back viciously colliding against Strike’s tucked knees before he finally lets go, letting the opponent crumble down to the mat.
Secondary Finisher: Vajra (Corkscrew Moonsault into Double Foot Stomp)
Description: Strike climbs up to the top rope with his back towards the opponent, as if he’s going for a moonsault. When he’s on the top rope, Chris fully stands up to his feet and bounces off the ropes twice before jumping off. In the air, Chris turns himself in a one-hundred and eighty degree angle, while holding his arms around his legs. Chris ends up doing a front flip in mid-air and instead of bringing his body out for a splash, his arms let go of his legs and the legs are brought together, as they land squarely in the opponent’s chest.
Feud/Title Match Finisher: Susano’o
(Wrist-Clutch Burning Hammer)
Description: Strike slowly lifts the opponent up to his feet and once the opponent is up, Strike positions himself to the opponent’s left side. Reaching under the foe’s legs, Strike clutches the opponent’s left wrist with his left hand, tucks his head in under and onto the opponent’s stomach before lifting the foe up in the air, his right arm holding on to the opponent’s neck. He holds the opponent in the air for two seconds before dropping down with his foe, landing the foe on his or her neck. Strike usually means to use this as a last resort, match ending maneuver.

Entrance Description:
The house lights in the arena go out completely, thunder and rain can be heard from a distance, all while the image of a large mountain complete with a temple atop the peak is seen on the LCD screen while the piano kicks in. The shot zooms into the temple…and up towards a throne at the top of some stairs. A man rises from the throne and makes his way down the steps…and once he nears the camera, he looks up and reveals himself as Chris Strike before making his way over towards a pool of water. Strike looks down into it, and once he does…a shot of lightning hits the water. As the lightning hits the water in the video, streams of smoke shoot up from the ramp way area and high above, while the riffs to “Twilight of the Thunder God” by Amon Amarth blast on out of the PA and Johan Hegg’s epic metal growling kicks in along with the lyrics.
Strike emerges from the curtains and steps out into the limelight, drawing a nice, loud and pleasant reaction from the rabid KoP fan base. Chris Strike stops in front of the entrance ramp and slowly raises his right arm up, hand open. A smirk falls on his lips as the self-proclaimed God of Thunder is showered by gold, white and black streamers, before making his way down the ramp, having the occasional fans reaching out towards him from the rail.
Chris then makes his way up the ring stairs, using the steel pole for support, putting his right foot over the middle rope and as he is about to get inside, Strike suddenly turns around and finds himself with both elbows locked around the top rope, his entire upper body exposed to the crowd’s sight. The God of Thunder just gives the fans a cocky little smile, before going under the middle rope and into the ring. He looks around at the crowd and walks up to the center of the ring. The lights go out once again, as a golden yellow spotlight focuses on him. Chris slowly brings up his right arm up and then swiftly brings it down, leading to another stream of smoke coming out – now from the outside corners of the ring. He leans against the ropes and stretches out his arms, while “Twilight of the Thunder God” fades…
